I had an idea like that for a while, but it involves the AK-47 with HEI rounds. It also might be worth switching the M99 over as a Demo weapon using .50 HEI/AP rounds.

High-Explosive-Incendiary-Armour-Piercing rounds are meant to be used by Snipers for destroying material, light vehicles or other "opportunity targets", like a weak spot on a tank.

The Connor Family used Raufoss Mk 211 rounds to destroy Terminators, but this is not something that snipers do in real-life., and Terminators are not humans.

Of course these rounds can be used against humans, although Laws of War might not allow it in real-life, but Snipers are meant to take one shot, maybe two, and then get out or change location, so they are not going to waste their ammo on "low-value" targets.

Demolitionmen on the other hand, use explosives to blow up stuff, and it makes sense if they can fire Hi-Ex rounds out of their M4s, because their weapons are not specialized Sniper weapons, and blowing stuff to smithereens is their business.

The M99 firing Raufoss Mk 211 is something we made up, in this thread i think, to justify the ammo damage. In-game, there is no blowing up with the M99.

Wait we established that? I always thought it fired silver tip. It definately doesn't do enough damage.
But yeah the US approved Raufoss for human targets lol
While I don't think the M99 is really a demo weapon, it just seems a bit off.
Having a huge rifle like that and putting a scope on it as if one would ever need to aim for the head.
I think if they were gonna go there it should have been a Sharpps carbine or a PTRS.

Why would you ever aim for the head with an AMR hmmmm?
Practically the same thing; only difference is that tanks are harder these days so AMR don't work on them.
It's ridiculous either way so why not something harder to use?

I don't, because I don't use it. And in this game it would hardly be difficult to use considering that the first shot it always 100% accurate. So just aim for the centre of the screen.

Or you could just use the mod for the PTRS; and kill the Patty with one shot to the elbow.

As you wish.

The PTRS is indeed extreme and heavy (20Kgs), so for the sake of realism, it cannot be added. Maybe mounted on a vehicle if and when maps with vehicles are added.

The Demo needs a XM25...

The Demo should also fire explosive bullets out of his guns. The Firebug fires incendiary rounds, so it is logical.

Probably copyrighted and cannot be added, and also nothing more than the M32.

XM25 uses magazines.

Snipers don't aim for the head anyway. Most of the time they shoot Center of Mass. When you only have one shot, better make sure you're aiming for the biggest target.

Well yeah but I'm reffering to the sharpshooter, how he always aims for the head at any range. With an AMR one would really just line up the top of the gun with center mass and fire. Of course KF takes place in a very short range. The scope in this case is just abit much. It would be alright but since the enemies are so close it's like, why do you need a scope? To hit the head? Why do you need to hit the head???
Real snipers use scopes because they engage at long range.

I always thought the M4 M203 should have manual reload of the grenade instead of automaticly reloading it.

This way, you could fire with the attached grenade launcher, shoot with the assault rifle when needed and reload when it's safe to do so.

But at the moment, the M4 203 grenades is loaded automaticly and that's a huge problem when you have gorefasts and what not in your face while reloading it. If it was manual reload, you could've just shot the bastard in the face with the rifle and reload when it was safe to do so...

I think that's the only balance it needs, maybe buff the damage a little bit too.

The manual reload of the grenade is a good idea, it reminds me of the M16-203 weapon from Sven-Coop
