Pictures and videos from the 2nd world war still keep amazing me, however the people in the comments on those pictures are retarted.

I don't know what Americans get teached in schools but it sure as hell is not as objective as what we learn here in The Netherlands.

What machine gun is the guy manning in the foreground?

These tanks look post ww2 to me

Also the is2 in the image i've attached has always interested me. Is there a known story behind it? I cant understand why its knocked out facing the oncoming red army, perhaps it was captured? or was the driver lost?

Nice red army sets,war crimes are in every conflict,present too,but here we are talking on nice pictures,weapons,gears,etc. Some sad pictures also,brave men,all.

Thos tanks are post-war. The round clam-shell turret was not seen until the 50s. I suspect that photo was taken during the Hungarian revolution about 1957 or so.

Which came to be ready at the end of the war, we can know when it takes place once people know what the language the writing on the shops is. I know that alot of pics are staged but there are so many PPSHs next to how people on here try to make out. Also this is what a Russian hero should get a looted weapon:

I really dont think they are IS3's, they look more like T-54/55's

If I learned 1 thing from those pictures, it's that we need accordions in game.

And also, this is what a soviet hero should look like.

Note the cape and the ominous ledge very import characteristics of a "hero"
