I remember it was a strategy game set in medieval times. I don't know if it was historical or fantasy but if it was fantasy it wasn't the Orcs and Elves kind of fantasy.. I think it was historical.
I'm pretty sure the graphics were 3d. Think Rise of Nations. Something along those lines. Maybe a bit more modern.
It's possible that units weren't single units but groups that could set up camps to rest. Little hazy on that.
The only real detail I still remember is that you could build fields but you didn't just place them like, say, in Age of Empires, but you drew their outlines on the terrain. Sort of like the polygon tool in MSPaint.
I don't remember any other details. Not even if it was turn-based or real-time. May be a long shot but I haven't seen the polygon field thing in any other game so maybe that'll help someone identify it.
