Long Loads

Hi guys!

When I am playing online it always takes a really long time to load the maps when I enter a server and when the server switches maps. I run the game very well at all Ultra settings, but I am using High for online. No lag at all even at Ultra. My internet is also very good, on Ostfront I was generally close to first to load up the maps. I am not running any programs while I play RO2 either. I am wondering why it takes so long to load, and what I can do to fix this. Tired of loading close to last!

8GB ram ddr3
Nvidia 335m
500GB SATA II with 299GB free 7200 rpm
W7 64 bit

In ROEngine.ini located here

C:\Documents and Settings\*Name*\My Documents\My Games\RedOrchestra2\ROGame\Config

change bInitializeShadersOnDemand to true. It is normally on false. It lowered load times from around 2 minutes to about 15 seconds for me and my brother and many others.

Alright, I am at the config file, in witch notepad file is what you are talking about?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\red orchestra 2\ROGame\Config

that is where I am at. . . Steam version.

Follow the path that I put up. It isn't in the steam section. you have to go through My Documents. Just follow the path and ctrl + f it once your in the notepad.

Thank you very much! Cut loads down a lot! I ended it up finding it here

C:\Users\*Name*\Documents\my games\RedOrchestra2\ROGame\Config

then it was in ROEngine notepad
