Is it going to be possible in sequel? Is lockating ( in Ostfront there was special icon for it) available? We like it very much. It is the main difference between RO and other FPS games.
I mean not heavy weapons with bipod but the others.

You mean weapon resting? Yeah, pretty sure that will still be in. I wonder if it will be part of the first person cover system, or if it still works as in RO:O.

I remember they stated in on of the gameplay vids that it is still in (or maybe it was a response to a gameplay vids topic) but I guess it wont be used that often now that you can lock behind a wall nice and safely, and then aim, knowing that you are as best protected from that cover since it is automatic and you dont have to guess where your body exactly is. And you can also move around cover while locked on it which is equally important.

Weapon collision and the cover system should make weapon resting a lot better than it was on Ostfront. The most annoying thing ever in Ostfront was that you couldn't adjust your body position, so a window or a wall had to be the exact right height to rest on... if it was an inch too low you were screwed. Plus if you were rested, aiming horizontally, and then tried to aim up, say to shoot at a 2nd story window, you could no longer rest your weapon.

I sincerely hope that RO2 fixes this, and I think it will.

Thanks for the pieces of information. I am now more relaxed. I hope I will find some free time to try this game. I totally agree with =TaT=Rabid. Creators should repair that. It was very annoying .
