loading glitch any tips

hi guys

every time i launch the game i hear the splash screen load and i can tab and hear the menu clicks, but my screen goes black and tells me there is no signal, so i alt tab and the screen turns back on and i go to desktop ?

I have tried moving the monitor resolution down to 1600=900 but still the same thing, i disable my second monitor and try both again still no go, i deleted the config folders in both directories and re validate cach as recommended no go.

i have un installed and reinstalled same thing. i have installed the direct x sweet in the tripwire bundle this didnt help. i also have a Gigabyte ATI HD 7970 OC with latest drivers

im pulling my hear out anyone eels know a fix ?

fixed it.

When game load click CTR + Enter Enters windows mode and it loads, FINALLY

NOW it keeps kicking me because failed to connect to punkbuster, which i have turned on

I must say not IMPRESSED with this game so fare.

First of all do you mean Rising Storm or Red Orchestra 2?

Second welcome to the community.

Thirdly you seem not to have played the game because of other technical issues so don't judge it yet. The game (RS and RO2) is the best FPS in MP on the market if you like a challenge and authenticity.

Try to turn Punkbuster off and look for a server without it. If you need to join a PB server then try reinstalling Punkbuster manually (PB does have some issues).

Punkbuster is easily fixed. Go into ...\Steam\SteamApps\common\Rising Storm Beta\Binaries\Windows

and run the pbsvc_hos.exe.

It should fix your problem.

to update punkbuster its actually best to visit their website and download the latest version online:
http://www.evenbalance.com/

For your resolution issue:
Go to mydocuments\mygames\rising storm beta\rogame\config
Open roengine.ini with notepad
search (control +f) for fullscreen and make sure it is set to true
search for ResX and ResY and set those to your correct resolution
save the file

When you then start up the game it should start up in the correct resolution.
