You can watch the match live on own3d.tv. Furthermore it will be uploaded to RO:Ladder's youtube channel later on, in case you can't watch the live stream.

Why dont you watch/record in free roaming?

or will that effect the Ping for the compeitors?

Then you could have better commentry like:

"Here comes sweet up to the corner....but but what is this.. DP is coming up to the same corner!.... who will get the drop"

If you record in free roaming you quickly find that you can't find anyone because they are doing really great jobs of staying out of sight so they don't get shot!

Can't be done with the current spectator mode, at least after joining a side. It's either locked 3rd/1st person or free roaming ONLY.

If you enable free roaming for spectators it means free roaming for players after they died. And especially in countdown you do not want the dead to see too much.

Unfortunately I can only broadcast in a bit over 480p quality and at just 15fps with my computer setup. The youtube is also a direct upload of the livestream footage and not a fraps recording or anything like that.
