Little tiny patch just now or?

Well, my computer blacked out while playing Killing Floor and upon restarting the game it downloaded an update. Now, it's happened before where my computer went kaput and I'd have to re-download KF, but upon starting up a new game I notice a couple things: things don't burn 'til death, and more importantly, things are displaying their burning animation properly now after just a couple seconds spent burning.

Can anyone else confirm?

yae they released a patch that for some reason isnt in the news and announcements section
the main fix was making the patriarch "immune", i guess, against a cluster of pipebombs that would have killed him on the spot

ya, it is annoying trying to guess whether to update the server or not.

I believe yes since when I tried to join a server after the client updated I got the infamous mismatch error.
