Little hearbroken concerning the keys.

It's painfull to watch all these streamers who seem that have never ever touched kf1 getting to play this. I don't like this form of key giveaway, even if I had gotten one I'd still be against it (but more happy of course ).

They gave keys to notable streamers because it's a great way to get people interested in the game that aren't part of the community. You're already going to buy the game, so they don't really need to focus on getting you any more hyped.

I understand this is the thread for the people who work and have no luck or otherwise missed this to be butthurt together.

640 hours in KF (http://steamcommunity.com/id/HeatSurge/games/?tab=all). Got a little annoyed with the diminishing quality of players and the overload of DLC, so I stopped ~ a year ago or maybe a bit more. Had some of the greatest fun I've ever had in my gaming life on KF1 with some great people.

Saw PCgamer video from youtube "recommended" videos, cried at how noob the people playing were, started browsing around, saw release date announcement, shat my pants, changed my pants, learned there are these "key giveaways" that I've missed.

Now I'm here.

I never heard about the keys until I visited the forum AFTER TB posted the video. Bummed that I couldn't get a key for this AND the PC Gamer exclusive.

You definitely deserve a key! I had to spam refresh on twitter and answer a trivia to win a key myself.

That moment when you realize that no matter how many times you lick TWI's rear, you are never a special pretty butterfly and will never be treated differently. Go on with the butthurt though, it's hilarious to see this privileged mode of thinking unfold.

p.s. TWI knows you will buy the game, so they are handing keys at random, so more people who never played KF1 can get hooked and eventually buy. It's a business, not a special dandelion club.

Looks like they did same thing they did with Rising Storm and I see same complains. But during RS beta I at least knew where to get keys and right now there are all these twitters, streamers (meh), I don't even know where I should expect them to appear.

I'm more interested to know for sure if KF2 will run fine on my craputer.

Yeah, I remember getting up early to snatch a key from the Aussies (can't remember the magazine's name). Worked like a charm though.

I understand your frustration, OP. I've racked up over 1200 hours of KF1, I'm an absolute fan of Tripwire and watching other people play the beta on Twitch is killing me.

I was sleeping because I live in Europe and those things happen at night here. So I didn't even got a chance. I only see a lot of screenshots from people in Steam.

But well. Life goes on. We'll wait 2 more weeks.

If it is any consideration I have over 700 hours of KF1 on steam but no one cares ...

What I don't like is that they are doing it through Twitter wher all the stupd kids go instead of give it here in their "official" forum ...

What's the point of being in this forum at all if all the devs look at is Twitter. Close it and use only Twitter or whatever crappy social media you like ...

Most fans got 1000 hours easy. Your 600 means nothing to them.

This is bull, I don't use Twitter so i obviously missed those chances, then they even posted up keys on reddit... again. I already turned my PC off when they were doing it and I need to sleep because I need to work all day for the next 3 days.
I'm already late for working typing this in.
