I can't find out how to edit a poll into a post anywhere, it might be disabled for the dedicated server section. I'll add one if I can figure it out.

Though this topic having the most replies in this section says enough, IMO.

well, i'm sure they'll get on it if they see enough ppl getting refunds for the game, actions speak louder than words.

we can always just repurchase it when linux support comes out.

the main reason ppl in our group (bwhgaming.com) havent purchased it is because we arent running a server for it, and we cant run a server for it because our server boxes are all on linux, and we dont want to waste the cpu's on an emulator.

only me and maybe a few others in our group (about 900 ppl) have purchased the game, because of our love of the first game, but we havent recommended it to anyone else until we are able to run a server for our group.

I'm puzzled about why not available. Linux is the usual server OS -.-

I guess TWI might not have had any Linux developers and not realized the importance of linux servers.

Hopefully they have realized this now and are working on it as a high priority issue along with the client bug fixes.

*Still* no response. That's a pretty poor show by TWI.

I think the time for me having interest in the game/release has now kind of passed. I'll pick it up in a little while when it hits the bargain bin.

You all should understand that Tripwire is doing everything in their power to make this game as enjoyable as possible. I appreciate their hard work. You should too.

As many of you know, RO2 still has some serious issues with performance and stability. Not to mention various bugs. They don't have an army of developers that could work around the clock, so things are not getting done as speedy as everyone would like to. Give them time, I'm sure Tripwire won't let you down. :)

Our problem isn't that the linux server isn't out yet (though that would be nice of course)... It's that we haven't had any kind of communication to suggest that it will ever be out. Saying "we'll think about it" is pretty useless and just leaves us in the lurch.
