Hello,

I read unrealadmin.org and most of the posts regarding KF dedicated server configuration but I still haven't figured out how to make the Linux Dedicated Server use settings which are stored in an ini. I have tried passing game name and such in the command line, too, but it didn't work. I am currently using:

./ucc-bin server "KF-BioticsLab.rom?game=KFmod.KFGameType?VACSecure=$vac?MaxPlayers=$slots?AdminName=$admin_user?AdminPassword=$admin_password?Difficulty=2.0"

None of the settings from the ini appear to get used. A post on unrealadmin.org suggested the following commandline:

./ucc-bin server "KF-BioticsLab.rom?game=KFmod.KFGameType?VACSecure=$vac?MaxPlayers=$slots?AdminName=$admin_user?AdminPassword=$admin_password?Difficulty=2.0" -ini=KillingFloor.ini

This didn't help either. I also tried using ?GameName=Test and such - didn't work either. Here's my test configuration:

I'm having a similar problem.
I'm trying to host several instances of killing floor servers.
I've copied the kf directory and its content together with hlds and that to several similar maps.
However it doesn't seem to read the /system/KillingFloor.ini in those maps but instead it reads the
/home/user/.killingfloor/System/KillingFloor.ini instead, overriding the different port settings I have setup :eek:

I think I saw this already posted somewhere around here,
anyways, add " -nohomedir" to the server startup command and it
will use the "KillingFloor.ini" within your gameserver's "system" folder :D
