Just wanted to know your opnion on this. Do you think its better to focus on weapon to level it up and make it amazing quickly or slowly use all of them and eventually build a more balanced arsenal

There are obviously pros and cons for both options but what do you think?

I assumed i'd be rifleman most of the time, and maxed both bolt rifles first.

Not a big fan of the weapon bonuses, but well... no denying coupled with manual bolting they make bolt deadly, and indoor too.

I go by which weapon is best for the map and style i feel like playing.

Also ive heard that they got a patch to fix/reset stats, which is for the best but saddens me cause nothing of mine ever glitched, gotta do what you gotta do though

What does increased skill in weapons actually do? What does increased XP do more than giving you the option to use more weapons?

The way you handle the weapon won't be increased, right??

Yes it does get changed. Sway is reduced, recoil is reduced, etc.

At least focus on rifle about half of the time. It's one weapon you are guaranteed to have access to.

My plan was, but holding it back until we get the stats sorted and hopefully reset, is to get the PPSH's drum mag, but if unable to use it then level my bolters, which I love just as much. I have been falling in love with the AVT40 though, so I cannot decide!

Hope these damn stats get reset and fixed soon, i want what im doing to really count.

And with that said i plan to go bolts first, i hear you get to bolt it faster when lvled which will help so much for indoors

My advice, would be for you to use the weapon that suits the map the best.

Also, I'd mostly focus on bolts and SMG's, because they are two weapons that you very frequently get. Elite rifle, etc, will be alot harder to level, and not really worth the effort.

Oh, and word of advice. If you are leveling the bolt, make the bolting manual. It becomes much faster than doing it manually, which will make leveling and using the weapon much easier. And you get used to it in an hour or so. :)

What? You have to get used to manual bolting? Oh, maybe I did back in RO1, but now I couldn't think of it otherwise.

I don't care about leveling weapons too much. When I am standard rifleman I do what I can, but when machine gunner or assault dies I pick up his weapon just in case, because their arsenal is better suited for some situations where bolt-action rifle is not enough (like suppressive fire or close quarter combat). I tend to man heavy machine guns too, if they're well placed.

What sway?
What level or your weapon and soldier is? The higher he is, the lower it is. That might be one reason why so many people think that there is no sway at all - because they have veterans with high level weapons. There are also the other elements affected by high level, like reloading/bolting time for example.
