Let's talk about suicidal and hell on earth difficulty servers

I have admin access in my friends' server. Normally on Suicidal, although we've been playing HoE more lately. When we open it up I never tell others how to play or what perk to use. I only use the kick button for disrespectful idiots.

I haven't run into admins that are jerks. But I've been booted out of servers I join late in the game, wave 8-10. I understand why, but it upsets me sometimes. Ask me, I'm happy to leave where I'm not wanted.

Btw today was even more horrible. I was called a f@ g because I was not playing as zerker. And when I told em that its not my problem that they cant play as a team and just running around with zerk, I was told to go kill myself. Wtf... whats the problem of this assholes. I seriously think to quit this game. I cant stand this anymore. One out of 30 games is a good game. It very very very annoying. All my friends quit long time ago due to noobs on higher diffs or jerks. Im about to do the same. And Im hoping the situation in RO2 is different, VERY different. TWI HAVE TO do something about KF. One idea come to my mind just now. What if every wave is generated by the player classes? You see if you are all zerkers, the game will spawn more sirens and husk, so you need other class who can counter this specimens. The same for the other classes - more supps - more husks; more SS - more "small" specimens etc.

Yes because Tripwire can do something about stupid players. The KF community is better than most, so I really don't see what you're freaking out about.

It's because I crashed your private server that one time with the pipetree. From that moment on, I knew every "missed" scrake trick or accidental bloat that would later go on to blow up my decorations was secretly motivated by your desire for revenge.

Hmm I'm running server on my PC, to which all can connect but, when players with LV0 connect to suicidal game it gives me the creeps. They don't know how to play and what to (10h max of gameplay) and what to do then. Usually they leave after first wave (they die in instatnt) but sometimes they stay till next wave and want money for weapons (on suicide). They get it and then they leave, so is kicking them reasonable in this case?


P.S A friend gave me an idea for mutator or modification which would check which LV is connected user and if he's on lv0 it would redirect him to different server (for begginers or so) is it possible?

There are good zerkfags actually. The ones who stay in front taking all the dmg while the medic heal them and the SS is killing the bigger ones. Yes they exist but... they are very rare. I cant remember the last time I saw one good zerkfag.

"Is it worth all this stress trying to properly balance the game (and by default make it as difficult as it should be), thereby producing a game far more rewarding and deserving of the clut status that it most certainly has, but by direct consequence increase the risk of alienating the newer more casual gamer, who will never be good enough to hold their own and enjoy Hell On Earth difficulty the way we do, making it more likely the game will have fewer and fewer players as it ages, and potentially push it into obscurity?"

the reason some of us run a tight ship is because most people who join the higher difficulty games don't belong there. If I am going for an achievement. There is a way to do it right and win. The one that I am doing is the one the team does. That's the benefit to owning a server. You make the rules.

I have been playing awhile, and I have a group of people I play with regularly. I got these friends playing pub games, which I rarely have to anymore.

I agree with the TTS server thing, Lenny is a douchebag of epic proportions, I played with him one day and he went on and on the whole game like a whiny 12 year old girl. The only reason I stayed was because I was incredibly drunk and it was amusing somehow. He was constantly telling people how to play, I replied with "I have 1200 hours in this game, I think I might have figured it out by now".

I play on TTS on occasion, but no matter what, if he joins, I leave.

I agree completely. I`m permabanned on 3 TTS servers just for telling him to ``less QQ, more pewpew``

I think some of you guys are just on an unlucky streak. My problem with suicidal servers is that there arent enough of em.
I have however encountered some ashaats in my games though. One guy "didnt like the demo perk" and proceeded to spend the rest of the game trying to stand in front of me.
Most of the people on the internet are actually good people, but when they go on, they turn into pissy whining 12 year olds.
