Now, when I say to let us choose the weapon we start with, I don't mean let the level 4's spawn with an m32 or anything like that, in fact, this post really only applies to the level 6 players here. What I do mean, however, is to let us choose to spawn with either our level 5 or level 6 weapon. Now, as many of you probably want to post "What is this moron trying to say?", don't.
Let's say I like to the use the regular shotgun a bit more than the hunting shotgun, of course the hunting shotgun does more damage and whatnot, but the regular shotgun is a lot more useful on the first rounds where you will be clearing out large amounts of clots, which don't necessarily need a lot of force to take down, but instead they take quite a bit of ammo considering the large groups they travel in. So now let's say our survivor "Dvsilverwing" is playing on Solo. He is in the first wave and is a level 6 support character. He is forced to spawn with a hunting shotgun, but he wants to spawn with a regular shotgun to take out all of these lower level mutants. He is forced to reload after every 2 shots, which is rather annoying. Why not let him choose whether or not he wants to spawn with a regular or hunting shotgun? It's not like you'd be giving him an AA-12. You're not giving him an upgrade of any sorts, you're just asking him which he would rather spawn with.
A Sharpshooter would be able to choose between the LAR and Crossbow (at this moment I'm sure all of them would rather choose the crossbow, though.)
A Support would be able to choose between the Hunting Shotgun and Pump Shotgun.
The Commando would be able to choose between the AK47 and Bullpup.
And I do believe those are the only 3 classes who get a different weapon when advancing to from level 5 to level 6, correct me if I am wrong.
