Well I stopped playing L4D long time ago, but aren't there more and more custom campaigns around already? Heard so at least.

There are ~20 or so campaigns released right now but sadly only one worth playing. The rest art big empty rooms with boxes in them followed by more empty rooms and boxes. Death Aboard is the good campaign, and it's useless in VS. mode because of all kinds of bugs. One such bug is that the infected can spawn before the survivors at the beginning of the first map, so when the survivors spawn in after the intro, they get immediately raped by infected in the safe room.

They pulled the demo after the game came out for some unknown reason.

The original is worth buying, absolutely. But this close to Nov. 17th, you might as well wait for L4D2. But if you've got $30 to spare, I'd say buy it.

Finally got around to getting the 4 pack today with some others, wasnt going to buy this on release but for

I went that way with a group of work buddies for the 4 pack as well and feel it's a good deal. I'd have been prepared to pay that much for an expansion pack anyway. Give me that demo and baseball bat for hordeuvres and I'll be nicely salivating for the main course.

The first video is an absolute must watch. It's about the realism mode. Multiple wandering witches, headshots matter a LOT more, one life, the defibrillator, less survivor "highlight" help, etc.
