Has anyone tried the LAW now?

I found this while trying a map of mine... it's AWESOME!
I've been able to (suicidal):

- blow up entire mobs of Clots, Gorefasts, Stalkers and Crawlers
- instakill Sirens and Husks
- stun Scrakes and kill them with 2 shots
- kill FPs with 2-3 shots

The only downside is the ridiculous explosion damage radius: if you shoot to a target less far than 15-20m you blow up!

For the purposes of FF, the blast radius was pretty big. It was inconsistent with the damage radius though. Those two seem to have been synced now.

I've actually used the LAW a few times and find it a very good support weapon. Unfortunately, it puts up a lot of smoke making a second shot on a single target difficult.

I think people have just deemed the law as broken forever. They never mentioned anything about fixing it in the patch so noone has tried it out yet.

they need to increase max weight for support by 1 so i can run a AA-12 and a LAW or let us drop the pistol

I know I wrote it off as a big ol' Fisher Price toy after using it in Doom2 a few times.

Yeah, if there were changes made to the L.A.W., they shouldn't have gone undocumented. And I would think TWI understands that since the weapon has such a poor reputation among players.

Then again, nothing was mentioned about the CS and people are noticing something...so maybe TWI isn't all about advertising every tweak. I would though.

TWI sometimes changes things without realizing it, same thing happend with RO a few times. It's normal

Hell yeah it did. I remember watching it sail next to a group of GFasts and they just brushed it off and kept walking. Goddamn that thing was a piece.
