Latest update to RO2:HOS Beta

It's interesting. I managed to play one night after downloading, then when I next started it, I got a second update to the beta, and the program crashes upon leaving the initial splash screen.

This is not the behavior of a Beta.

because beta builds of anything always work as intended? It's not a demo of the release candidate if that's what you're implying. There's a support section I'd recommend going through and later posting in if solutions to similar issues fail.

Game comes out in 6 days and the majority of the beta users are having significant problems. I personally cannot even play the game since last patch and even then I had problems.

Sorry, but at 6 days from launch the whole "beta" thing doesn't really work anymore. Maybe if it was 1 or 2 months from launch, but it is not. I don't know how thick your rose-tinted glasses are, but this game has serious issues for a game that comes out in less than a week.

Cant play after latest patch...
Cant finish any game without crash!

Do anyone know, when will be some new patch? 2-3 days nothing except server fix...

Only saw 980 people playing the beta today. The predicted amounts was supposed to be around 9000+. I believe even Gibson said in an interview that he predicted 10's of thousands.

It's entirely possible the in-game player counter isn't functioning properly. You'd think the forums would be more flooded than this if that many people can't play. Otherwise, feel free to continue making up random numbers like others have done.

Steam stats for today are saying peak as 3,567. So you can conservatively say there are at least 5,000-10,000 people who play the beta. Since people have to work and not everybody plays games everyday, in addition to different time zones for different peak outputs it's fair to say that you don't know what your talking about.

Today i see around 700 players all time?
I know game have much more past days and before latest patch, and i do not know exactly why.
I`m not hater. I like game very much. Have more then 80h gameplay. Have more then 70h before patch. Cant play much with crashing anymore...
