I'd like to see a larger emphasis on the squads rather then the classes, a simple switch over making the squad menu default would *hopefully* increase team play and make it easier for squad leaders and commanders to play as a team.
It'd also be nice if the squads were greatly emphasised in the 'TAB' menu so people can instantly and clearly see who's in their squad and who's the commander. It'll also make it a bit more ordered instead of just a list of names with no real order or design.
This also reduces the herp-derp 'elite' weapons whoring players, force them to join and fill up the squads!
At the moment people really just squbble over classes and don't really pay any attention to the idea of working together, yet another CoD-inducing style of play. By promoting squads and by proxy team play it'll keep a lot of the realism community happy and certainly reduce the general headless-chicken style gameplay I frequently see.
It's an easy thing to implement and could (quite easily) be a serverside option so you don't get people complaining 'OMG why can't I get the Mkb42' etc.
