Any wrod on when i can play my copy of red orchestra 2? lag update at end of beta is still making game unplayable. could someone please tell me when a patch will be out to fix it? ping of 300 is kind of pissing me off! dont tell me to play 20 aside servers they are no different and i have 100 meg broadband. its this game

I have 50mb optic fiber and i get 50-60 ping on a 64 man server. Deffo your end mate.
its just hilarious buying a game that's unplayable i feel like a mug. Havent been able to play since release!!!!!!!!!!
Just wish tripwire would tell me if they are fixing this issue or if they dont care. I just want to know where i stand so i decide if i wait or get a refund?

most of the lag i have experienced is from overloaded servers
heck there are 32 player/16 per side that are on crappy boxes that just can't handle it
talked to one league guy that cut all his 64 man servers to 32 and hasn't heard a whine about lag since
gotta have decent hardware to run decent servers.....

Unless you're willing to accept the possibility that the problem is on your end, and do some investigating to determine the cause, there's really no point.
i have a 100mbps DL line...and i get around 100 ping+

Nope, logic is there.
If i have lower than you and im getting better ping than you then its your end or your provider. Could even be bad server choice.
I play on 116th Panza Div London and i get 50.
Never seen an issue.

I got 20megs over twisted pair. I get 50~60 fps over any server I choose to play on. Micro-lag? Maybe one jerk in a game round --if it's beyond the UK. You are suffering my friend. You shouldn't tolerate it! If you have 100Mb broadband and you are getting the game experience you describe, that's breathtaking. A ping of three hundred? Where is your server located? Thule?! Jeezuz Wept!

Lag is something that is sadly not going to get fixed any time soon. I have the same problem and always have to aim ahead of the enemy when they are running. There's a thread with over 200 replies that explains the games horrible networking. Maybe one day things will get better.
I'm pretty sure it's a kharma thing. Why should one group of people suffer hopeless lag while others experience little or none? And on the same servers with the same game code on their respective pc. It's unfair. It's brutal. But it clearly indicates mis-behavior in a past life.
