I have been working on the early KV-1, I still need to do some details and cut out the hatches yet. Then I will have to start modeling the interior, and that is a problem because I can not find any pictures of the drivers compartment for it. I have found 3 pictures of the turret interior but nothing of the drivers area. If anyone has some pictures or sites that would be useful please post them or head me in the right direction.

The tank looks a little narrow, or maybe it's just the turret. And there's something about the wheels that looks funny, but I think it's just me.

Other than that the texture looks great, and maybe a few more details as you mentioned.

Actually this KV1 will be accurate to scale. I still do not believe the KV1 in the game is to scale, but I know the 'S' version was smaller but it just looks too small. They were monsters. The players head should just come to the top of the chassis/track return wheels. I don't know where the quote is, but I found one last year talking about moving the KV. Basically it was said that the KV1 was a danger to anyone and everything around it, including buildings. It was tough to handle, nearly impossible to maneuver in less than open ground, and often did more damage to surrounding structures than the enemy without firing a shot.

Compare scale to the people on/around it:
