Well I hope his son one day opens up the country and frees his people. Apparently he is western educated. He was actually very athletic during that time and cared about nothing but basketball with his favourite team being the Chicago Bulls.

I doubt he will be given much real responsibility any time soon though and remain as a puppet figurehead. I think there were leaked communications or kji publicly said his son has no desire to lead.

Lol @Fanecas naive statements.

To be honest I don't think much will change. I think Un might have been on a school on switzerland and I doubt he experienced life. Plus his uncle and the general wanting power as well.

Have some respect for the oppressed. Just sayin. None of them asked to be born into a dictatorship. My friend's grandparents are North Korean and they are some of the kindest people I have ever met on this Earth. Some of the North koreans do hold some grudges against America... but Americans bombed the hell out of them. Some people over here in USA still hate Japan for stuff that happened before that. I've been to Korea and I can tell you it is a precarious situation. I even talked to some North Korean loyalists and they are just as reasonable as some other politically charged people I've met in my life.

Just be happy you live in the West and stop all the hate mongering. They are normal people living their lives as best as they can. Their government just happens to be...... different..... for lack of a better term. I don't like what has happened to Korea over the past 100 years, and neither do the Koreans.

Please show a little respect for your fellow citizens of this planet. I bet they dismissed Americans as brain washed psychos who support bombing Asians when everyone cried over JFK. You're only seeing the fanatics, who may or may not be putting on a show for their own safety in regards to the party's all seeing eye. There are people just like you and me who are bashed into rank and file because of politics. Probably falling on deaf ears but who isn't?

And why isn't it possible that people cried out of genuine anguish for the loss of a major public figure that may have represented stability?

I mean, isn't it odd to say they're all brainwashed, and then say they're faking the crying? If they were brainwashed into loving him, then they'd love him.

I highly doubt any NKoreans seen in the media these days crying over KJI death are faking it.
They got 'brainwashed' per say from birth to love their leader. Same exact thing that happens in Fascist nations. I know what I'm talking about because Portugal was a fascist nation until 1974.
People are from birth tought to love and adore their leader as a living God and to obey him.
This along with NKoreas nuclear weapons program and overall dislike of Western nations by them (namely the US for what I know because of the Korean War) and South Korea can prove a tremendous risk to the world in general.

It is impossible for something like Homefront to happen but Best Korea is still incredibly dangerous. Many people think that they only have up to mid 70's Soviet tech that is gathering rust and dust but they do have some rather good radar systems for what I've read, capable of detecting US fighters over 200km away from NK's coast line. In the incident I am talking about, if the info I read is legit, 2 NK jets got scrambled and sandwiched a US fighter mid-air without the US pilot realizing it.
The 2 NK pilots signaled the US pilot to follow them but he did not comply but also did not open fire, I think he just high-tailed it out of where he was as fast as he could.
If the Korean War breaks out again South Korea will win in the end but without the biggest bloodshed since WWII. Because of how brainwashed the entire populatin of NK is, even if they are starving, they will fight to the last drop of blood for NK and it's leader.
It's not the fault of NK's people but they will end up being slaugthered on the basis of survival of SK/NATO troops.

A preentipve massive strike with ICBM's would help to fix the problem but it would end up being a massive crime against humanity.
This doesnt sound good but we will have to act on the basis of "it's either us or them" when/if war breaks out in the Peninsula, this me giving the thumbs up for the "Nuke them from orbit" scenario. Basicly grab your nukes and **** the NK's high command and everyone near them.

And here I was... Thinking that it would just take the son becoming the new leader and telling their people that the war was over to start fixing things up. I guess I have not played as many RTS games as some people here.

Edit: Faneca, so you think we should have nuked Portugal in 1974? Maybe we should still nuke it today, just to be sure that none of the fascists are still alive.

None of them seem to care they're being oppressed either, so excuse us if we find mocking them amusing. If it was really such a tragedy somebody there would be doing something to change things. But since they aren't, they deserve every bit of criticism.

It's not like we're making jokes about the people who had sense enough to try and escape that mess. Those people actually deserve your respect. The rest? Nah, we'll keep making fun of their fanatical "brainwashing".

About Churchil's quote:

For instance, here in Poland, during 11th Nov Independence Day, an assortment of local and imported anarchists interrupted patriotic marches (under the guise of opposing nationalism, because some of these marches were organised by organisations considered nationalistic).

Also, look at some instructions for Antifa groups. Not at all Ghandi's non-violence, quite the opposite- including cynical instructions on how to game the system and the police, in order to avoid arrest/ be let off quickly.

Edit:

Also, if nuking N Korea is the only way to go, then nuking the US/Russia/whonot is also the only way to go. What? N Korea is more extreme? Well, the US and A are democratic, and yet they go around the world, bossing everybody like they had a right to do that. Russia? Yea, democratic, no faked elections and not fought any wars in the last 20 years, either.
And so on and so on.

And the elderly? The Disabled? The children? The people in work camps for no reason? The people who are too terrified to do anything?

Must be nice to live in a world where everything is black and white. Your attitude is a bit ****ed up.
