[Game] Killzone 2

I did just that.
My impressions are that the game didn't live up to the crazy expectations that the media set for it (then again, few games these day do). Honestly it's not bad per se, just not great. The fact that you have to hold down the crouch button is a real PITA.
For getting a glimpse how the game looks and plays it

I don't think the demo can fully be used to feel out the game, it is just a short segment where not a whole ton happens. You crash land, shoot a few guys, move up a beach, kill some more guys, get a rocket launcher, make something go boom, move up the beach, kill some more guys, break off kill some more guys - done. No thrill moments really except maybe the last part of the demo where you have to hold the helgast off while a guy opens a door. All in all 5 to 10 minutes.
For what was in the demo, I enjoyed. I'm hoping and reveiws lead me to believe there is alot more variety in the combat with more thrill moments, and an awesome multiplayer.
But as I stated and somebody else echoed, holding button to stay in cover is an annoyance. But I do like the cover system alot. My pre order won't be going away.

Didn't know there were ironsights, but you can definitely aim your main rifle(using the red dot aiming device)
Can't wait to get my hands on this, though I'll probably have to wait another two months as usual thanks to play.com's great delivery times. 
Demo was painfully short, but badass in my opinion. The graphics are stellar, nice to see a game that finally looks like it's using the horsepower provided by the PS3 instead of half-assing it (looking at you, Resistance 2). Love the gunplay, the guns feel HEAVY and brutal, which is a first for me in the FPS genre. These guns feel like they can rip you to shreds. The AI was very clever as well, flanking you if possible in the brief encounter you have with them. I'd like to be able to bind my own controls though...left trigger for ironsights please, instead of clicking the stick.
Can't wait to pick this up in a couple of weeks. Hope the multiplayer is good!

Yay play.com just changed the status from 'Order Placed' to 'Packing', meaning it'll hopefully be posted still today. I mean shipping time to Austria somehow always takes them 10 to 20 days anyways, but hey!
It's a crying shame PC gamers won't get to play it but I've heard that there is going to be a Crysis mod based on Killzone 2.

Up until the middle of last year delivery times were spot on (France 3/5 working days).
They used to be sent from Jersey, now its some where in Old Blighty.
