[Game] Killzone 2

Hello,

I really can't wait for Killzone 2. Having played the game twice so far I really love the graphics(the general realistic look) and what's best is how heavy the weapons feel. Here's a new MP-Beta trailer:

Which leads me to another questions: Any mp-beta participants on this forums? If so, what is MP like and do you like it?

I really like the looks and the feeling of the game so far. They've pretty much achieved what they showed in E3 2005 as a CGI trailer(Motor Storm on the other hand, certainly has not). I like the models of the soldiers, they look awesome.

Maybe I get a PS3 later if this one turns out good. I have a strong feeling that PS3 feels "worse" than XBox in terms of graphics, and this might prove otherwise.

I think this will be good. I don't own a PS3, but an 360. However I was impressed by Resistance 2 improvements from the original game released with the PS3 as mentioned in a review. So I would be slightly shocked Killzone 2 does not live up to the hype.
It does look great and I like the overall direction. I mean I think the dev team have learnt from the mistakes made in the original game which in my view was supposed to be the PS2 answer to the Halo franchise.
I may invest in a PS3 one day but since I'm at University that will have to wait awhile lol.

To be honest it looks like a standard console FPS, so nothing really to be hyped about. Sure it looks great and all, but I'd prefer something with an interesting story and new unique gameplay mechanics.

TBH I look at Killzone 2 to be the first decent *hardcore* FPS for the consoles, so I'm really excited about it even though I don't own a console. Not that it reinvents the wheel but it does everything right^^

So it's one of those "Hey! Pre-order the game and then we'll let you try it!" deals?

Anyone else have a demo key? I really want to try this game (as the first one was pretty disappointing IMO) but I don't want to pay for a pre-order first.

Only for the US razz, EU everybody got access today.

Anywho, just beat the demo. I really like it. My only gripe is the cover button you have to hold down, can't get it on a toggle, least as far as I can tell. I used alternative layout 2 for control.

Nuts. I think I read that US doesn't get access until after the game ships. Is that correct?

I'll be picking up a PS3 next Friday when my tax return gets deposited, but I can't tell....are there iron sights in this game, or do the people in the vids above just not use them? I saw like 3 seconds of iron sight use.
