Can you buy killing floor off steam? or is it a steam only game? I seen it on amazon.com but does it make you install steam in order to play it?

It's Steam-only, you require it even if you bought the game elsewhere.

Your Killing Floor stats are saved to your steam profile, meaning that any computer you log onto your profile with, your Killing Floor with have those stats.

So no, no Non-Steam Killing Floor for anybody.

Yes basically you'll get a installation CD and a Product Key in your retail Kiling Floor box. Your product code is for Steam to grant you a license for Killing Floor on your steam account. The CD is so you won't have to download all the files from scratch through the internet, it will copy most of the files from your CD instead.

I think the Store version comes with 2 of the 4 skins from the Outbreak pack as far as I'm aware though so it might be worth looking into if you don't wanna buy the DLC

When you buy it, there will be some code in it, use it on steam then you get the game in your account.

i bought KF in GAME last year
thats now why i own Steam
