Killing Floors won't connect to Multiplayer Server on custom maps

Hi,

I just updated killing floors to v.1015 a few days ago. I also just updated my mac OS to 10.6.5.

I found out that I couldn't play custom maps on a public server. I was able to

- play custom map solo
- play default maps on public servers

I tried reinstalling KF and it still wouldn't work

By the way, I installed KF through steam.

Please help

Could you define "can't play"? Do you get some kind of error when you try connecting to servers running custom maps?

Basically....

- Connected to server
- downloading custom map
- finished loading custom map

Then I never got to the custom map splash screen. It just stays at

connecting http://ip/KF-Map....

Basically, the step when logging into the public server is this..

1. connect to server
2. loading the custom map from server
3. finished loading custom map
4. show splash screen for the custom map
5. In the game, at this point we can click join ..etc

I got stucked at point #3. I finished loading the custom map and the screen is back and showing

connecting to http://some ip/KF-some-map-name....

and just sit there forever...


update: I think my router is the culprit. Today I use my laptop to play at my gf place and I could login. It's still weird that I was able to play the stock maps (on solo and public server) but for custom maps, I can only play solo and not on the public server..
