Killing Floor White List Update Submission Thread

    I am working to get a mutator whitelist update ready. I had several on my list, but sadly it looks like sometime over the holiday I have lost that list. So if you had previously submitted something to me (privately or publicly) please do so again.


    What we need for a whitelist submission:

    The author of the mutator must be the one submitting the mutator

    The submission post itself should include the following information:

    1) Authors handle
    2) Description of the mutator
    3) Public link to the mutator
    4) Public or private link (this can be pmed to me) of the mutators source code

    Remember, that mutators that are whitelistable do not change "core" gameplay and do not make the game easier in some fashion. The final judgement on whitelisting is made by Tripwire.

    Description of mutator: Actually those files are not mutators but code packages required for KFO-Foundry-SE map. ScrnStoryGame contains enhanced story game conditions, scripted actions, NPC base classs etc. FoundryObj contains map-specific classes: NPCs, triggerable animated decorations, placeable pipebombs etc.

    Mutator Name: Zed Density Control Mut (White Listed)

    Description of Mutator: A must have for increasing challenge and optimal zed count. You can change the max Zeds allowed at a time between a range of 32-200, and also can change the spawn delay between new spawns and previous anywhere from 0.0-3.0 seconds. Includes Advanced features for tweaking the attributes of spawns themselves in the map, such as the Minimum Distance To Player And Can Respawn Time.

    Note to Tripwire: The spawning in this game is quite interpretive and varied, even with the set zed count of 32. The mapper determines every other settings including the spawn settings as you know, so I've tried my best to keep the settings that are allowed to be changed in this mutator to not be exploited for easier game play, but for tweaking spawning to accommodate the map or to make the game more of a challenge for more experienced players (the reason I made the mutator). I won't say the settings cannot be used to make the game easier, but Id just like to state that a mapper can do far more damage on making game play easier based on how he/she places spawns, the tightness of hallways and use of open space, how many spawns are in the map and their specific settings. I kept the default settings such as 32 zed count as the minimum range, other settings I decided to have somewhat open so that they can be tweaked based on the map size and tightness; but not as wide of ranges as in the original mutator. I hope you don't consider this mutator to violate "changing core gameplay" or "making the game easier in some fashion". Thanks for your consideration.
