I made a quick hack of my L4D gadget to work with The Killing Floor.

Moderatly useful, i usually have a tab open on steam then i hit refresh, this is easier to see

sorry, didn't know the link contained extra information, thought it was just a downloadlink that would have been useless since I was/am surfing with my android phone. however, sounds like I should give it a try when I'm back home from work. ty

I really like it. If you double click on the icon in the gadget it'll automatically start up Killing Floor(If you have steam running) and connect you to the server your monitoring.

after installing the KF Gadget & editing, the vista sidebar blew a gasket & shutdown the application, i clicked the sidebar baloon tip, which suggested that i turn off Data Execution Prevention for an individual program

i did not...

restarted the machine & all seems to be well

once i installed & edited the KF Gadget the vista sidebar blew a gasket, windows closed the application & suugeted that if a program is being closed by DEP, to make sure that it is a DEP compatible version and check for an updated version. if it is not DEP compatible, then you can uninstall the program or turn off DEP for that particular program
