If so, We might have our 1st OFFICAL Non Perk weapon. And It reminds me of COD Black ops 2 Zombies on how you get the weapon. Find scattered parts for the Jet Gun [Or in Kf's Case, the ZED gun.]

that would be amazing. I hope my guess is right and i'm not just overthinking this lol. Though reading this image seems to give the impression it has no class on it. Plasma bolts, a stasis field and a motion tracker? what kind of class would that even fall under?

You probably are. The Axe thing seems like a weapon that stays on that map only, which is kind of a downer, thought you could keep it and buy it from the Trader once you manage to get it :I

The ZED gun has a motion detector, so it's probably not a commando weapon. Firebug or support, I'm guessing. Or even demo, to make nades work better?

Gold Guns, Part of weapons, Moon...im just thinking CoD now...but i always thought this game was better then that.

The weapon DLC pack is what people wanted, a cosmetic set, so that makes perfect sense.
D.A.R. better have his own voice pack, another cameo from another game, the Dwarf!? Ax, i dont think anyone saw that coming!

For the Ax, is it a all year round thing or event only?

To get the axe, the only way you can get it is by either earning 40k gold in the Dwarfs!? game or outright buying the $9.99 pack. I'm not particularly happy about tying an achievement to another game, but maybe $40,000 gold will be easy to procure in the F2P version. Anyone who has played Dwarfs!? can comment on gold getting?

No, because just like I stated before, it's right now impossible to jump onto Dwarfs?! game. It crashes as soon as you log on (doing it right now as we speak) because of sh*tty software. XNA folder in the games Steam Folder is the cause apparently.

This was a bad move on TWI if they thought it's a good idea to tie a game with another game to get a reward. Especially with a game that you can't even run even if you did backflips in finding the right software for it.

well they did say you can either do the F2P option or just buy the game so you dont even have to play it. just own it. they did the same with RO2 and TF2 with the pyro and ww2 soldier skins

They don't deserve damn money just by buying the game and letting it sit there on your computer. also paying 10 dollars just to swing an axe around on ONE MAP isn't worth it either. That's derpy thinking there. TF2 is F2P as well.

i'm also betting there will be a sale on Dwarfs? as well in time with the whole event and the probable steam christmas sale as well. Yes TF2 is F2P now but when they first added the Pyro skins, it wasnt. Also guessing you wouldn't have to have the game installed on your computer if owning it is all you need. You can just have it in your library and that's that.

I'm usually one to back TWI on everything, but out of every gun (and I could go through the Ideas forum and find hundreds) that could have played extremely well with the Killing Floor theme, we got gold reskins... well damn. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just think they could've done better. And for the record, I wasn't one to complain about the first DLC, either.

Yes. Clearly this is in keeping with all of the "bad moves" Tripwire has made over this past year. It's a miracle they're still in business.

but seriously, tried that, doesn't work, to get this game rolling, apparently, a friend of mine had to:

-delete older version NET
-keep 4.0 installed
-delete the XLA files completely
-delete Dwarfs and install again
Overall completely silly just to play a game.
