Killing Floor Max players

Will Killing Floor ever up the player limit from 6+?
I have about a dozen in my clan who play Killing floor alot
and we would all like to see the player limit increase

I dont want to stir the pot but if ppl want to increase there perks they just go to one of the perk leveling servers anyway

so I dont see how a more than 6+ player server is going to hurt
If people dont like playing on them there is LOTS of 6 player servers around

This isnt a competition game its about fun and fun it should be

6 is sometimes just too much. The problem is with the trader. Just 3 is enough to block the rest of the team. So, unless something is done with the trader, I dont think increasing player per server is a good idea.

Depends on who is on the server. I've played a couple 20 and 32 player servers and usually shopping is not that big a issue if you do as Walter would say... "get your **** and get out!" :p I have played on 6 player servers when an idiot insists on blocking players out of the shop.

Only prob is when you shop too long you have less time to prepare for the next wave.

Just kick the blockers.

It's not something people might do 'accidentally'.

There was no player limit in KF mod and everything was fine.

6-player servers were never popular.

I tried with a listen server and i can't change the max players to a number bigger than 6

Well I'll say this- the biggest problem in playing in those 6+ player servers is you'll run outta ammo far before you run outta zombies.

The max ammo values are not tweaked for you to make it through a wave of 600 zombies. Someone should really make a mutator that seriously bumps up the max ammo cap for all weapons/grenades for use with those 6+ player servers.

...as for the trader blocking: there's already a mut that makes players no-clip through each other during trader time only. It's even whitelisted if I recall correctly.

Everyone use Beserker and the problem is solved! I think. And yes, the "NoBlock" mutator is whitelisted. Quite quickly in fact after it was made.

loaded servers are good fun, the only ones I have problem with are those that try to run it like this with no mods whatsoever, and bad rotations. like all stock maps, or too small to be worth playing with so many, no antiblock, no change to runtime zombies, etc. so you end up with huge games where people keep voting for whatever is familiar, crowd around spawns in a turkey shoot, block each other at the trader, just terrible gameplay.

do it right if you're going to do it at all, otherwise there's no point. default config is not balanced for this, and antiblock is obviously mandatory.

I run a listen server with my buddies in sandbox mode and our 6 player waves have over 800 zombies. To get around the ammo problem we just buy several extra guns. Some maps like biotics make this easier to do cause you can hold in rooms where the trader is. If there are 800+ zombies per wave money is not an issue (we play on hard).

I dont know why they made the trader rooms so SMALL anyway, makes no sense.. You can just barely fit in to them at some maps, manor traders for example. Once everyone has squeezed in they are stuck there until the last 2 (blocking the doorway) are done with the trader...

Luckilly I have anti-block mutator on my server, but sadly its kinda hard to find any other servers with this mutator :S. It should be default, I dont see why not.

Could someone please explain to me how you up the amount of players allowed if your running a "LISTEN SERVER"?

If possible please keep your instructions free of abbreviations and keep them step by step as I'm not too computer savvy.
