Hey!

So I've already searched this section for answers without much luck from the few threads i did find the same result with goggle nothing i could find seemed to work so clearly my best bet seems to be make my own thread.

So anyway my killing floor basically has been dropping to pretty lame frame rates 25 and below on the highest settings, but before you say lower your graphical settings I've already done that and i still get 25 or less frames on the lowest graphical setting which kind of confused me.

I just feel that my computer should be easily getting higher frames, so iam guessing it has something to do with my graphic card? (ATI Radeon 5870) which is what I've been lead to believe from what I've read on the issue so far.

System Spec's

OS: Windows 7 64bit
Processor: Intel Core i7 870 @ 2.93ghz
Memory: 4GB Corsair Dominator
Graphics: Sapphire Ati Radeon 5870
Motherboard: Asus Maximus III Formula

Any help with this would be great, 20frames just isn't any fun :(

I've already tried that even went to the extent of trying outdated drivers to see if the update was the problem. No luck

I'm getting the same problem I'm on Q9550 and I have ATI 4770 and anytime there is a full load of enemies the fps drops to the teens, and I've tried with multiple drivers, setting everything to lowest settings makes no difference AT ALL, and neither does setting the affinity to different number of cores, overclocking, underclocking, setting task priority, turn off anti-virus, etc. I've tried every fix that I've found on these forums as well as steam forums. NOTHING WORKS.
Full Specs:
XFX HD4770 (11.11 drivers)
Q9550 @ 3.18
Intel Bone Trail 2 Motherboard
4Gb Kingston Hyper-X Ram
Soundblaster Live 24-bit
Windows 7 64-bit

Has this been happening just now? If so, I've been having the same problem for a few months, but may I suggest deleting the ini file? It worked for me and it's running smoothly at 45 - 60fps online, or did you try that?
