I've never in any game seen the level of teamwork that I see in Killing Floor. I just bought during the halloween sale, and more times than not, when I hop on a random server people work together. And this teamwork is almost always done silently. With almost no Voip use, and only minimal text chat KF players observe the situation and other players and just know what needs to be done.

In other games (cs, cod, ect) most dont have voip turned on, and ignore text. In those supposed team games, hopping on a random pub it's more like individuals not a team.

I just wanted to come on here and comment on how awesome it's been. Thanks for the good games.

Well a good team knows instinctively how each perk is supposed to be used.

Ex: A bad team will start shooting a skrake as he comes around a corner with shotguns and flameguy while a good team will call out the skrake, let the sniperguy take him out while a commander/shotgun will clear trash zed out of his path so sniperguy has a clear shot.

KF is co-op defined, without the most basic team work, your team is doomed.

You, my good sir, have an excellent point. I bought the game during the Christmas sale, and one of my favorite things about the game is how good all the players seem to be at working as a functioning unit, as opposed to the general tomfoolery I see in other games, such as COD. Glad to have you here!

Gotta admit, KF does generally have a fair few funtional minds that play it.

Been right into Gears of War 3 lately and I find myself ranting none stop in a vast majority of Horde and Versus games as most people seem obsessed with scoring as many points as possible instead of playing together and winning the round.

I have lost count of how many times I have been baited by my own team to allow them to have a free kill while I'm getting chainsawed or sawn-offed in the back. I have been known to occasionally walk up to a downed teammate, stand next to him for a second, call him a *!@

what

I disagree, CS and TF2 and basically any other valve game always have widespread use of voip. Way more than KF, that's for sure. TF2 is free to play now anyway, so you're welcome to download it and check

I must admit, that being a noob I've done similar things. I'm (slowly) learning the correct tactics though.

I havent played CS in like 8 years, but really I was just trying to make a point about joining random pubs in most modern games.
