Weapon: (HRG) Snipecicle

Perk: Survivalist / Sharpshooter

Function: Primary fire shoots an icicle projectile for accurate, long distance headshots/precision cryo build-up. Secondary fire toggles to an ice shard shotgun mode meant for close quarters cryo build-up/minor trash cleaning.
Additional info: HRG based off the Railgun. Costs $1500, weighs 8 blocks, slightly less damage, bigger ammo pool. Slightly faster firerate/reload.

Reasoning: Gives Sharpshooter a more team focused weapon similar to their perk grenade. Helpful against slowing/freezing big ZEDs, as well as good for clearing out trash a little if you need breathing room. A free alternative functioning somewhat similarly to the Compound Bow.

I also just want more cryo weapons, cause they're cool. :)

Hello, I have 2 weapons for suggestion, 1 fits both categories of WW2/Bolt action with scope, the other fits the Commando heavy hitter LMG category in the polls. Furthermore, these 2 weapons appeal to the Killing Floor lore/development and I'd be happy to see these two weapons upvoted. If either one makes it in I'll be very happy.:)

Weapon: Lee Enfield No.4 Mk.1(T)
Perk: Sharpshooter
Function: The marksman workhorse of the British Army from WW2 to the 70s, the No.4 Mk.1(T) is a 10 round magazine fed, charger loading/single loading sniper rifle fitted with a No.32 Scope. Effective range between 500 to 1200 yards.
Reasoning: The No.4 rifles were the WW2 variant of the long line of Lee Enfield rifles, known for their fast fire rate in the hands of a trained rifleman and with a superb cartridge, these rifles proved deadly in the hands of British and Canadian snipers. It fits the game because the No.4 rifle actually entered the previous game, KF1 in the form of the highly stylised "Single Piston Longmusket", plus the fast fire rate, heavy .303 round and excellent scope will most certainly make the Sharpshooter experience all that more fun. A perfect balance between the Lever Action Rifle and the M14.

Weapon: Bren L4A4
Perk: Commando
Function: The iconic British light machine gun. The L4 variant of the Bren chambers 7.62 NATO, fed from a top mounted 30 round magazine, fire rate of 500 rpm.
Reasoning: The Bren gun, in my opinion a PERFECT addition to Killing Floor 2. Not only does it fit the lore, but it is such a unique design. Killing Floor 1 was set in the United Kingdom with a British Army contingent of survivors, the lore states that some tooled themselves up with whatever they could find in their armouries. Given the game's release in 2009, it might be surprising to know that the L4 Bren was only retired from service in the British army not too long before KF1 and was most certainly kept in reserve stock in armouries all around the country. It is an excellent homage to the franchise's origins and it is a perfect weapon for Lieutenant Masterson.

As for the performance, it fires a full rifle cartridge from a 30 round top fed box magazine. Compared to the Stoner LMG in game it is the perfect contrast. The 30 round magazine of full powered rounds ensures it is a "Heavy Hitter"/"Stagger" LMG without being overpowered given the magazine size. The offset sights are clean and crisp and would provide a challenge to the player with the top fed magazine blocking the right side of the screen. Furthermore Brens were frequently fired from the hip by either holding the folded bipods or by grasping the carry handle. It will make for some excellent gameplay. It would function like a heavier FAL with a slower fire rate but slightly higher damage and no scope.

I sincerely hope either one makes it into the game, it would be so awesome!

  • MK 23 pistol - Sharp - Sharp backup sidearm for railgun loadout with a lower weight
For those that would like, consider modifying your vote (you can modify your vote at any time).

Remember, this poll isn't a "it's going to happen" list, but a conversation starter for you in the community and our design team as well, and so far it has been a great success from our end, so thank you all for your participation. To help guide some of the suggestions and votes, the specific weapon is less important, but the role/need it fills is of great importance.

Weapon: KS-23M

Perk: Support

Function: Very high damage pump-action shotgun good for stunning and shredding big ZEDs. Lightweight making it a good fallback weapon or situation based weapon.

Additional Info: 4 round tube. Costs $1200. Weighs 3 or 4 blocks. Expensive ammo. Higher damage than the Boomstick.

Reasoning: A good high damage, low weight shotgun for when you can't afford the AA12 or Doomstick at the cost of low, expensive ammo. The low weight would make it a great option for a fallback weapon on very late rounds. Alternatively, instead of the buckshot shrapnel rounds, it would instead use the "Barricade" rounds. A solid steel slug round capable of going through an engine block. This would essentially be a great headshot weapon for big ZEDs, especially on Scrakes.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Weapon: HRG Blevit (Devil's Pitchfork/Impossible Trident)

Perk: Firebug / Sharpshooter

Function: A dart rifle similar to the Helsing from Metro 2033. The rifle would have a detachable cylinder/box magazine filled with six fire plasma darts. Primary fire would simply shoot a dart, causing it to explode on impact setting the target on fire. Secondary fire toggles to a penetration mode, where the darts would go through multiple targets, stunning them and setting them on fire.

Additional info: HRG based off the Seal Squeal. Lower stun chance than the Crossbow. Costs $950. Weighs 6 blocks. Glows orange. :)

Reasoning: An attempt at adding an on-perk weapon for Firebug that does more than simply set things on fire. It functions more team based being able to stun ZEDs while still dealing DOT. The stun would end up leading straight into panic.

I feel like Firebug could use more "bullet" type weapons like the Mac-10 or Spitfire.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Weapon: HRG Glacial Rifle (Dunno what to call this. I had other ideas, like calling it the Selene Rifle. Selene being the opposite of Helios.)

Perk: Survivalist / Commando?

Function: The Cryo version of the Helios rifle. Primary fire shoots Cryo plasma rounds with freezing build-up. Secondary fire emits a Cryo pulse similar to the Microwave Guns alt-fire. Pushes away ZEDs leaving them slowed with minor Cryo build-up. This would essentially be an upgrade from the Freezethrower, except with less AOE and more accuracy.

Additional Info: HRG based off the Helios Rifle(duh). Costs $2000. Weighs 8 blocks. Possible crossperk with Commando.

Reasoning: Adds more to the growing arsenal of the Survivalist. Freezes ZEDs making it easier for teammates to make headshots.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Weapon: HRG Chimera

Perk: SWAT / Berserker

Function: Swaps between a Cryo mode or an EMP mode. Primary fire shoots Cryo bullets with low to medium Cryo build-up. Secondary fire toggles to EMP rounds that function like Berzerker's Teslauncher.

Additional info: Somewhat Similar to Hard Light from Destiny 2. HRG based off P90 SMG. Weighs 5 blocks. Costs $1300. Lower, more expensive ammo compared to the regular P90.

Reasoning: Yet another Cryo weapon, but also an EMP type weapon that isn't the Zerk's grenade. Great for supporting teammates that are getting overwhelmed by multiple big ZEDs.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Weapon: HRG Bomby Gun

Perk: SWAT / Commando / Demolitionist

Function: An SMG the fires frag rounds similar to the pellets of the HX25 or Kaboomstick. Very effective against trash ZEDs but also against medium ZEDs.

Additional info: Loosely inspired by the Xenophage from Destiny 2 :). HRG based off the Tommy Gun(duh). Costs $1100. Weighs 7 blocks. Lower mag size compared to the Tommy Gun. No self splash damage.

Reasoning: Multi-perk automatic explosive for easier trash disposal. Helpful for clearing out for some breathing room.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I hope this is fine posting multiple ideas/suggestions like this. I don't really want to spam multiple comments. Sorry! :)

This weapon is garbage (let alone it's a concept of the weapon). And you have attached a video that explains exactly why this weapon is garbage.
Obviously it was considered garbage, because it was only a prototype that never got fully flushed out due to the AA12 being created and making the Jackhammer redundant. Though Tripwire could have it be that Horizine weapons lab took the Pancor Jackhammer and put a twist on it and made it a functional shotgun

I saw a Bren as LMG, and I don't think it's a good idea, since it has low, comparing with belt-fed LMGs, magazine and very very good (not) front picture. Just look a this. But it's British, that's the big advantage because Killing Floor often refers to British culture
The perfect choise IMO will be some average RPM (600-700) modern LMG with holo sight, such as PKP or bullpup PKP.

A few suggestions -

1
Weapon: Shotgun with deer slugs
Perk: Support
Function: Mid to long range for support, designed for heavy hit no spread. Some form of single barrel gun, limited clip/one shot n reload so it's not OP from the get go.
Reasoning: Suport has limited range for most builds, all the others are swaying from their normal roles, this would give support something new. These slugs are designed for a single heavy hit/hunting (and we are Zed hunting after all). We've already got a fire based shotty, why not a "sniper" style shotty? An alternative to the quad and the entertaining counters from SC/FP when they don't die.

2
Weapon: Fireworks launcher
Perk: Firebug
Function: Progression from dragonsbreath/flaregun for those that don't want beam/spray guns. Similar to Hemogoblin, drills into a single target but explodes after drilling in. Alt fire, drills in and spews fire near the target, would benefit ground fire and help ranged crowd control. The different modes give it variability and covers ranged fire spreading and single hard hitting for heavies.
Reasoning: Gives ranged crowd control with the option to explode for high single target damage...and an excuse to re-use hemogoblin blood effects

3
Weapon:Harpoon / spear gun
Perk: Zerk
Function: Fires a harpoon to stick enemies to walls/floor (similar to eal squeal). Bleed effect to heavies instead of sticking them. Lower tier rifle style for non-melee zerks. Fall back for melee zerks needing time to recover or while zeds are at range until they get close.
Reasoning: Non melee options for Zerk are limited, seen more starting to use tanks with guns, this type of thing would fit nicely to their blood splatting ways.

This might be a long shot,

Weapon: Dart gun
Perk: Medic

Function: Pistol for medic that fires smaller versions of hemogoblin darts, early alternative to SMG, precursor to goblin. With some of the heavier guns for the medic, a light but semi powerful pistol would give them other options. Alt fire, higher powered healing but dart uses 75 charge as a drawback. A nice secondary for those who use the sniper and 501 and the option to heal a lot of heath for one person instead of multiple little darts.

Reasoning: Basic medic pistol is lacking (obviously it's tier 1) and is generally used for a quick heal not for fighting off Zeds. The high tier medic guns would pair nicely with this, assault rifles with a powerful pistol as backup / or a chance to impact the target before sniping them. higher healing power gives this a different place to the medic smg, heal one person a lot insted of multiple little darts. More skill involved with one dart and more reward.
