Killing floor 2 instantly crashing

about a year ago killing floor 2 has always instantly crashed ever time ive tried to load it on steam if anyone could help that would be great. ive tried all of the common things such as re downloading and verifying it ect.

my specs
intel core i7-7820x processor
nvida geforce gtx 1080
corsair 1000watt psu
and 32gb of ram

and help would amazing thanks
