G'Day everyone!

I've decided to make a Killing Floor 2 Commando Guide! Commando Tips & Tricks in Killing Floor 2 to guide you to ALWAYS WIN WITH COMMANDO!... Well... I always win anyway
This "Solo" run was performed during a seven wave on "Normal" purely for purposes of showing you guys the map and also concentrating on showing you the tricks.

Hello,

I did not watch the whole thing because playing Solo and Normal with Commando is not really the best way to show the strengh and weakness of a class ; or any tip.

So, I just skipped and watch three minutes, and :

- First wave, no need to go pistol, just use your knife

Then, I went to almost the end of the video :
- At the end of Wave 7, there was 2 FP and you killed trash instead of focusing on killing the FP... when there was 5 ZED. Don't you know that every ZED will rage if there is less than five ZED ?

You say it yourself : "There is only five" at 23:10. You then shot a trash zed, making it 4.

You did nothing... until... 23:30.

Fortunately, the first FP did not rage in this 20 second ? Maybe because you were on normal. But, you still got the second FP who comes at you raging. This way, you can not use your grenade and you got a FP hitting you all the time... if it was any other difficulty (and with more player), you will be dead ! You took more than 7 hits I think by the FP. Maybe try to bash him with a gun ?

Also, bad example to say that it tooks you a clip of SCAR (30) in order to kill the FP, while you're level 25 as a commando. I don't think anyone at level 25 will be playing on normal, so this is not really comparable.


- Regarding Boss fight - Patriarch
Trader > You could always tell people to use their monney to buy another weapon and drop it on the floor (in case they need it).

24:46 > Why weld the door ? It's useless, all boss can destroy them in one second ! What if you run and you get block by your own welding ?

26:19 > You do not even tell people that you can only see the Patriarch because you are a commando ? You do not even tell people that they can try to kill the patriarch before he gets to heal ?

I just noticed you took a SMG Medic as your sidearm ? Really ? The worst weapon in the game ? You know that if you want to use the left 3 weights, you had 1750 of monney at trader and you could have taken a Gunslinger weapon ? Like the T4 at 750 dosh which does 150 damage by shot ? Instead of 15 by the SMG ?

27:02 > "I got lag" = In solo mode ???!!! You're offline, dude...

And yeah, in the end, you did not use the ability of a commando to be able to kill quickly the Patriach before he gets to heal ? What's the point of being commando, then ?

Next time, don't do a video of "How to always win !" on normal

to be fair the term lag applies to any type of delay between 1 thing and other that would normally be less, for example video lag, input lag, mouse lag. some of these are related between themselves.

sadly modern games are graphic intensive and present a high relation between graphics/screen sync, and input responsiveness, this was always like this, but is more notorious on modern games.

Oh, sorry about that. English is not my first langage but, in french, we use the term "lag" only regarding latency related to ping (and not performance problem) so I thought it works the same in english.

Here, I think the problem of "lag" are related to the fact he is recording the game and it's probably causing a drop in FPS. I just tried it for the fun and it decreases a little my performance and make some ZED look a little "cartoonish".

no problem, in fact the term lag is most used for net lag akaik.

an yes, if you record you use noticeably more resources, years back normal pcs couldnt even record properly in games. that aside the in the place he says it, i also experience noticeably fps drops, from about 100 to 60.

Mate don't get offended but your voice over and the some parts of the video were indeed quite informative and entertaining (for the newbies), but about 90% of the vid complies with trash talks , wrong loadouts (keeping in mind the higher difficulties) and lastly no proper skill even for a 25 leveled up COM guy playing solo normal.

Firstly , the majority of the suggestion which you gave about the perks were wrong. "Backup" and "single fire" can be used effectively together for atleast 2 full waves of Sui/HoE solo with any of the first tier/stock choices of your fav weps [be it the bullpup/ar-15/9mm](I do this almost everytime when I play COM solo).
Secondly the single fire loadout suggestion is a joke at most coz it's hardly viable in HoE (after wave 7 coz good lucking outputing your dps at 2 fp's in later waves using constant single shot spam) when things get to the point of so called zed overcrowding. And with COM you gotta make sure that you aren't being overunned by the zeds as you need to aim (or atleast stop for a while to even shoot and the class has no move speed bonuses unlike some others)

Secondly , your horrible gameplay at later waves even at the normal difficulty lol (and you even use crosshairs). You yourself were saying that the big zeds don't stop raging when the last 5 of them are left but then you intentionally shoot some trash (totally obliterating your own statement) and then trying to kite around with like 5% accuracy and mere shots landing on the fp. Like wth mate ?
Also a bit annoying thing is that at 16:52, you brag and say that you headshotted the scrake (total overconfidence here when you clearly didn't, as half the shots landed off and on his head/neck hitbox and since you were on normal the scrakes have literally not even half the health at what they do in hard/sui)

All in all, your vid did had some useful info's here and there, but a 25 lev COM can just sit in a corner in normal with his scar/bullpup and pop heads like days without even needing to heal unless the fp's come (yes I or even some of the vets here can do that eyes closed as the dps is already way over for a normal level gameplay at level 25) and you were bragging about that "how you always win games" , haha.

Atleast get some basic git gud gamplay, facts and most importantly information right especially before making "Class Guide" video.

And you sure that you own a 980ti (coz I have some serious doubt about it) as in your video there were some serious issues about the frames dropping every now and then. I own a 380x and run kf2 at high (with DOF and motion blur off coz personally I hate intentional blur settings in general) and the obvious realtime reflections, and HBAO+ gpu hogging settings. I can play co op @60 fps with usually no spikes at all (sometimes it may happen when a demo/firebug are blasting and having fun together it might drop to 50 or so) but other than that, have no problems at all. And with such a high end nvidia card , you absolutely be no way dropping frames like crazy even on ultra , huh.. o.o
