There it is :cool:

All it needs now is texture, animation and codework which, surely will be covered by someone else in KFWDT.

My idea for it as a weapon in KF:


  • 10 shots per load
  • Tight spread due to its length
  • damage just a little more than the KF pump-action
  • Semi-automatic shots
  • Tubular magazine (reload roughly as long as a pump-action reload.)

Lookin sweet Gibby ;) Im detecting detail on the weapon and you're improving ;) wait until you have 3DS and you'll get even better ;)

Which is exactly what the l4d auto shotgun is.
This sounds like a blatant upgrade for the pump action shotgun.
Anything that prevents it from being that?

Well, the use of the gun is different. -.-

It's gonna have a slower fire rate and higher recoil so you can't spam it like you would with l4d's autoshotty, and it's not gonna have an overly-wide spread like the l4d autoshotty.

Why sorry for imagining that a support specialist with 2 autoshotguns sounds a wee bit overpowered.

i love the idea

slowing the fire rate and upping the recoil is a good idea too

you're right about the L4D semi being spammed
but it has a decently slow reload in L4D too

so maybe you can lower the fire rate, up the recoil, and up the reload rate? just an idea

the AA12 is fully-automatic
his is semi-automatic

Well, there's been another plan for an extra autoshotgun. It'll have a slightly higher fire rate, faster reload rate, but countered by somewhat lower damage than the weatherby and a rather wide spread.

However, what I mentioned about the "difference" from the weatherby has yet to be decided. It's definitely gonna have a wider spread but I'm still not too sure about recoil/speed/damage and such. We'll find out about that when we get around to implementing it. But for now, Beretta Silver Pigeon sawnoffs! :D

I've just been asking a question.
Kindly stop talking down on me for calling it "automatic"?
I know that "semi automatic" means holding down the trigger won't fire continuously, thank you very much.
It implies a greatly increased rate of fire though.

That's what made me believe it might either be too strong by itself or just a carbon copy of the pump action with 2 more shots and a slightly increased fire rate and less spread which would make it an upgrade of it so you'll never look back to the normal shotgun once you have this one.
Those are completely legitimate concerns seeing how the support specialist is one of the few actually balanced perks right now.

But maybe I'm thinking too far ahead.

was included in CS:S way before L4D had a crack at it. In CS:S it only had 7 shots. So if we're going to use the M4, i suggest we go with 7 shots instead of 10. Also, check out the sights on the Benelli.
