Anyway, I played through the map a few times and the most noticeable thing was that the map doesn't feel very intense. If there were more specs present it might actually have intensity after playing the first time.

Also the elevator opening isn't very obvious and looks like is an area that is usually blocked off. While the open door/portal area looks like you should be able to go through it but is blocked off.

There are other more minor issues but these are the most important ones that need to be fixed.

now its my time to correct YOU. the spawns are fine, its the level rules that isnt set right. and if the elevator opening isnt obvious, what is the problem?

KICKER: i was surprised to find this:

its a simple fix, just select all matching textures, planar align, and youre good to go. the second picture needs texture rescaling, also real easy fix. should take you maybe 30 seconds tops.

No it was not necessary, but I couldn't help myself.

I'm not quite sure what you are referring to when you mention level rules, but playing on sp version the spawns (no FPs and 2ish scrakes) are rather easy to deal with. I'll try it on mp and wave based too.

The elevator isn't an issue except that it isn't real obvious while it seems like another area should be open. A friend of mine tried it and quit because he though the level was broken.

no problem man. ive only played the wavebased, with both 2 ppl and a full 6. they spawn from everywhere but the speed of the respawning is a bit slow. and with the baggage check causing so many traffic jams, we mow'd them down pretty quickly. in early waves though i was just walking around by myself, and i wouldnt run into a single zombie the entire time (which gave me the time to admire your work kicker). the other players killed the few zombies so quick, the early waves and even the later waves were never a challenge.

Wow, as a huge Resident Evil Fan, i really enjoy this Map. A perfect example just how a good KF-Story Map should look like.
But, there is one point in your Map, where you need to climb a ladder. And its just awfully buggy :( Most of the time, my teammates just keep falling down and die.

I played through it until the metal detector part by myself on the MP COOP version, plan to go again with friends later.

By a rough estimate; It dosen't have the same flavor as your Hive map (Also wondering where V2 of that is) and what made the Hive map so good, was the triggers that spawned the overwhelming npcs that you had to fight against or run from (retreat to A.I chamber) along with that creepy music is missing from this and the atmosphere dosen't draw me in.

Also removing the sub-titles, that kind of progressed the story like in The Hive kind of was a turn off. You just spawn at a plane crash, in what appears it be a underground area, how did the plane get there in the first place?

Aside from that, will update more when I go back through the whole thing later

This looks good. Im downloading right now =)

Me and my buddies have spent hours playing your hive map. Im sure this will be the same quality if not better. And on a personal note, we love the story/mission driven co-op missions. LOVE THEM.... lol. No lack of interest here.

Well, my friends and I like the idea, just think that it should still be in beta. There are still some glitchy parts of it, especially during the outer areas. If you go to the outskirts of the said areas, you'll sometimes be forced to crouch, and, in my friend's case, get stuck permanently.

My other complaints are probably due to user error, but:

-In one of the parts where you have to find another way around, we could not figure out where we were supposed to go (Entrance to terminal from outside was blocked by chairs and invisible walls blocked us on several attempted paths).

-There were way too little spawn points for the fallen teammates.

Enjoyable, it's just that it was too buggy on our first experience that turned us off toward it.

Yay, funny KFS mode map! I played yesterday with 2 of my clanmates, and we almost finished it, but couldn't figure what to do on the final part of the map, where there are 2 laws, a plane and nothing else....we just kept on searching another way for like 15 minutes till a FP appeared from we-don't-know-where, killed my mates, and when I was about to make a headshot on him with my xbow, Pat appeared in front of me! That was my sad ending... :D

Ja um hi i love your map KFS-RaccoonAirportMP but there are some problems i have encountered that need some fixing. 1 is when i start there is a fleshpound right up stairs in the beginning which seems to kill me alot. 2nd there is a table in the airport watch tower which has the flamethrower in it and when you go down that hall you hit a invisible wall but next to it is that table and if you jump on it you get stuck and die after a few seconds.

This has to be one of the better SP maps I've played. Rarely did I feel being boxed into fighting a whole wave of specimens for the door to the next area to arbitrarily open like most other SP maps. Also, the fact that you could just run away from most of the enemies and conserve ammo in the process contributed a lot to our experience.

The whole mission is pretty reminiscent of that L4D campaign complete with the final set piece, and with better gunplay. The only things missing are, as said before, some texture glitches like that missing wall/gate in the departure area and maybe add a little more woomph during the climax. When the pilot announced that the plane was ready to leave, there were just a few specimens staggering around which I could easily dispatch with my pistol. Maybe spawning some FPs and more Scrakes at around this time would give future players a little more incentive to get the hell out.

This here's a diamond, a little rough around the edges, but still a diamond. Great work.
