Hello there ! I made a little Resident Evil 2 map :

Note : I had never used an unreal editor, and this is my first attempt. Please post any problems or suggestions you might have, thank !



Features :
Big map
5 Traders
Multiple ammo and item spawns (19 Ammo and 11 Weapon)
Blood system works
Destructible light
RPD from Resident Evil 2

How install my map :
For dedicated server :
Put "Antize-RE2-V11" folder in "\kf2server\KFGame\BrewedPC\Maps"

Add this in your bottom file "\kf2server\KFGame\Config\PCServer-KFGame.ini"

Awesome job. Nice trip down memory lane. Noticed one small bug with the zed spawn at the player spawn though. Seems that they can get hung up in there on something. It only happened to me on the first round, but I was able to run around the whole map and he just was stuck until I went right up to the door he finally came out.

Looks great! I will give it a shot later. Only concern is it looks quite dark so hopefully it won't be too much of a strain on the eyes, then again it is hard to tell with just screenshots.

Just downloaded the updated version but it is still called KF-AntizeREV1.kfm
Did you forget to change the link to the new version?
Or did you not bother to change the name of the map to KF-AntizeREV2.kfm???

Umm this so called update has once again got the same filename as the 1st 2 maps, it has the same filesize, it has the same crc32, and you can connect to servers running older versions of the map just fine with it installed.

Your mediafire link says the file should be called AntizeREV3.rar yet the file you get is called AntizeRE.rar???

Are you uploading the correct file for the update\linking to the correct updated file.
As it seems so far the V2 & V3 have been the exact same file as V1.... :confused:

Very fun map, although it feels very basic right now despite being quite large. I would suggest to possibly scale down each area and then add more areas to the map, especially the second floor so we can have a bit of verticality in the main lobby, possibly adding a staircase on both sides of the lobby up to the second floor, as a ladder wouldn't work quite well. In any case, excellent first attempt at the Unreal Editor, looking forward to future updates as well as additional content from you!

I have a question.

Why does the Readme file tell us to put

...into KFGame.ini when the map name is "KF-Antize-RE2-V4" and not "KF-AntizeREV4"?

I played a match on this and every time the last zed wouldn't appear for like a minute even after searching every area of the map. They always eventually came from the furthest spawn point next to the hallway the player can't access. At first I thought it was too big of a hull thing since it happened with bloats the first few times, but then it happened with a crawler.

Not sure what map version. Also, why the vlad on the desk? It's an awful lot of free dosh vs the sell for 100 random weapons that spawn.

Logically all weapons spawn are default "100" ... what the version you play ?
