More weapons need to be added, and as well, there should be more encouragement of actually straying from the perk's main weapon pool.
I personally wouldn't complain if at least some weapons were cross-perk and got bonuses from either perk. That's really what could solve both problems right now concerning the excess money and the lack of good firepower for dealing with higher-tier Zeds (though the facts that most people are still low-level for their perks, big specimen killers like Sharpie aren't in the game yet, and balancing still needs to be done all sway this problem even more).
AA12 could arguably be both commando and support, Katana could be both Zerk and Dragon, Nailgun could be Zerk/Supp, and flamethrower would probably fit with medic, at least for the reference to the bile thrower from KF1.
