Sounds like user error from your side, eighter misspelled some server startup URL option or INI setting.

no i havent like i said this has ruined my server to the point where even wiping it and reinstalling it fails to have any effect
Then remove all references to this mutator from the system folder. find WTF.u WTF.int and WTF.ucl and delete all of those files from your system folder of killing floor located in C:\Program files\Steam\steamapps\common\killingfloor\system
LOOK IF IVE WIPED THE WHOLE SERVER AND REINSTALLED IT FROM THE START SURLY THIS WOULD OF DELETED THESE FILES AS THE Selecting "FULL WIPE" will remove all your custom configs and maps from the instalation directory
Keep those rage keys in check. Who hosts your server? If you can't get it back up then submit a support ticket.

Since you have game server, use a ftp program to access your server, go to the system folder and grab the Gameservers.log and check it out. Gameservers.log will be acting as your server log. If you want, post the log content and we'll try to help you out.
Since I have a KF server from Gameserver as well, I'm going to take a guess and say that your server is down and anything you do won't get the server back up. If that is the case, then the server is most likely missing the 2k4Menus.utx from the textures folder. What you do then is go to your own KF textures folder, grab that file and upload it onto the server's.
Then again, it's better to check the server log content first before attempting anything really.
Loose Cannon - i can help you set it up , if you want , just PM me , i also have servers from GS and have this mutator set on both of them with no problem , so i'm pretty sure the mutator couldn't "ruin" your server.
BEEEEEES - just little feedback
If it would be possible , on the spawn (before the 1st wave starts) make the menu , so players can choose from the menu , because right now the "new" players to this mutator don't know that "poker knive" so they basically spawn and before we can explain them how to get the perk the wave starts. Also maybe some kinda message that pops up across the screen ,lets say when there is only like 2 zeds left ("to change perks press #5 key few times till your 'poker knive' is out and than swing it") would help those new players too, i think
I really like that "poker knive" , but needs little fix (imo) ,
i mean lets say i'm firebug and when i swing it to play as medic it changes the perk perfectly , only it doesn't give me the "lethal injection" unless i kill myself during the trader time and than respawn , same for the demo "self destruction bomb" , so if that coud be somehow fixed or put it into trader menu , so we can buy the "lethal injection" or that "suicidal bomb"
And if possible ,if the zerker would get like "belt with throwing knives" (so he can have more throwing knives(20) ) , i always manage to get them stuck in some zeds and than just can't find them anywhere to pick them up

The next update will probably be a code-only update, which means the download will be ~500kb.

- logic bug resolved with perk poker; cycles through perks in order as shown on the poker now.
- chainsaw/fireaxe ironsights lunging is in and operational- thanks Wiggles for the testing help. Lunging is berserker-only.
- a certain oddity with flares appears to be fixed- ty fluffyninja for reporting.
- melee death from above stuff moved into berserker-only
- firebug with the FIRE axe still lights zeds on fire with the alt-fire while falling.
- limited shot-penetration added to SA80
- lethal injection, self destruct bomb, and flaregun added to random spawn list.
- swapping to a new perk adds its special equipment (flaregun, etc) to your inventory.
- base flare lifespan reduced to 90 seconds. Added duration bonus for support specialists and firebugs that tops out at 200 seconds for a rank6.
The next update will probably be a code-only update, which means the download will be ~500kb.

How about if you drop your weapons from your previous perk, so you're empty, so it'll give you the new perk's weapons too? Would be nice
I thought it was really hard at first, but then i found out how powerful the Firebug is. At least as powerful as this: :IS2:

Lol so far FB is the only perk that could take on all the specimens without having ammo issue. As for commando the super auto mode really kickass.

The "version mismatch" is caused by the server being out of date. This often happens after server reinstalls. Update has been issued and you should be good to go within 5 minutes. In case this will reoccur simply issue "steam update" from the "mods" section and you will be good to go. Let us know if you will need any further assistance.
