I felt like making a warcraft map

V1 Notes:
  • Very bare bones map, basically testing the concept
  • royal rumble arena
  • wants atmosphere feedback, nice, changes?
I will be dressing up the map more in updates to come

  • Fixed the player starts a little

I love the concept (me being a WoW junkie years ago lol). Will you be making it bigger? Reaaally liking it so far :)

Hey, cool map was playing this for a few hours last night, may I suggest increasing the height of the invisible wall at the main front entrance where the zeds come in. Its pretty easy to shotgun jump on top of the invisible wall to camp or to get outside the map.

Just want to say I love this map! The way its coming along is great. It's always refreshing to play a map that looks quite visually different.

So far the map seems to play fairly well, but I think a couple of spawns wouldn't hurt as the earlier waves can be a bit slow.

Maybe you're aware of these glitchy things, but I thought I'd mention them anyways in case you're not.

As you can see in the screenshots, the zeds get stuck in those places. Not just occasionally, but several times in game and it's happened every game as far as I know. Grenades help with this problem if you have them, but they're not always guessed and thrown in the right spot which sometimes leaves to me having to change the map. Unfortunately, it's a major problem right now so I've had to take it out of rotation :\

Another thing is that if a player stands on the second to last step thingy, if Scrakes get up they don't seem to take any damage from them. The other ones seem fine, but not this one.

I hope this helps and hope you develop this map further!

love the map so far! May i ask what programs you are using to export the wow models? atm the latest versions of model veiwer and machinima dont export or crash correctly. Would be really awesome if you responded. you can either post, pm me or add Lg | B-fast on steam! thanks!

i just use the modelviewer yes, the obj exports work fine for me for m2 files, the larger WMO files sadly arent supported yet, else i could have just ported the whole of stormwind in XD

ahh yea, i was upset the wmos dont work. i know they did in the past back in the day :/ i wanted to port Sw org or any of the amazing places that are in wow. ill play around with some small things for now.

You can change it to something else but i do not think you can use spaces. But it will only show in the WebAdmin with that name and in the game it shows the actual mapname.
