So Whats New?:

  • Bug Fixes - Tons of issues fixed.
  • Exploit Fixes - Things like being able to shop at any time and being able to get high above the zombies.
  • New Trader Path - Trader path is now working and easy to follow.
  • Difficulty Increase - For those that like a challenge.
  • New Aesthetics - Just some changes to show it's a remake and not an update.
  • New Traders - This gives the map more variations since people rarely stray from the trader.
  • Improved Zombie Spawning - Zombies now spawn all around you instead of just one direction.
  • Optimization - Improved FPS.
  • AI Path Rework - Path network has been drastically changed for better zombie behavior.

The Zeds walking through fences is just horrible.

One of the many problems the zombies faced was getting over the fences and quite alot of them were getting stuck. Tried using blockers to give the zombies better grip as it were and they just ended up sliding along the fences in the most unnatural way.

For now zombies can walk through the fences until I find a way for them to jump over the fence without A) Looking stupid, B) Getting stuck on the fence / interfering with zombie behavior.

Are the sections of the fence one model? Or are the horizontal planks and the posts separate? If they're all one model you can give it a custom collision.
Place a fence-section and make stairs with the builderbrush that lead over it. Give them a really short step-length. Like 2.
ZEDs (and players) can still walk up stairs like that but it's really steep so ingame it doesn't look or feel like stairs but like sliding up (or vaulting over for that matter). Now rightclick the fence-section and chose Save Brush As Collision. This affects the StaticMesh in the package! Not just the one(s) in your level. If it's part of an official package place one first, rightclick it and chose Convert To StaticMesh. It's already a StaticMesh, but this way you can save it in another package, e.g. myLevel. Use the myLevel copy for the stairs-treatment then.

When you're done make sure the stairs are pointing in the right direction so the ZEDs coming from the outside can actually get up. Rightclick the gray bar over your 3d viewport and click View -> Show Collision to make the stairs visible so you can rotate or mirror the fence-sections that need it.

About the problem in your PM where one map had an effect on another map: Go to your system folder and delete/move/rename every file that has the name of your map or the name of the other versions. Maybe something got mixed up there.
