Ok here we go all, sorry for the long delay. I have been up to my eyeballs with a forced house move that came out the blue. All done now and back on track so to speak.

I have fixed the bugged portal and a few other minor things from the version submitted to the wave 2 of the grindhouse comp.

I have renamed the latest version to KF-TheLongDarkRoad for the whitelist and for some reason it just seemed oppropiate after the journey ive had with this map :D

Anyway I have updated on MODDB and all links in this thread should point there.

I will submit to the whitelist and request that the older version be removed so be sure to grab the latest version.

WHY?

I actually like the older ver better. This new ver is great, I love the feel, but im not a big fan of the layout like the other one. Pluss i s was gonna remove the new version and keep the older ver, because alot of people will play that one.

There can be only one darkest road.

The new version is brilliant. I love the Alamo feel in the enlarged compound with winchesters poking out all the windows. "Dig in lads, they be a coming".

Definitely a contender for second place in Wave 2.

Hey

Hey

I agree with Fel. Leave the old version on the white list. It gives people a couple of different options for gameplay. Plus they are just, damn good, fun maps to play.:D

The main reason is the older -F version is exploitable in so many different ways. I requested the removal of it from the whitelist on 07-23-2009 but that was a time when the whitelist process was at the early stages and not as easy to maintain as now. My bad I should of nagged more.

Now I know that most of you guys would not mind or even try to find them. But I would not want anyone new to game coming along and walking out the map by accident and finding its great the z's cant get me here kind of thingy...

I simply want to provide the best I can as I have always done. When ever I have found an exploit with my maps the first port of call is the whitelist and a removal request. Always done it that way. Proberly to the point of giving the guys with the list an headache lol.

All this being said, I am more than prepared to edit the older version and release a more stable one if you guys would like that. Just wont be in the to near future as my latest projects, Control and Catacombs are near there first beta releases.

It's all go in the house of filth lol.

Just bare with me troopers :)

Until then I give you loads of Love and cuddles.....

Filthy.

Gus before you ask me the stick manor on the end of the smaller version the question is how low are you willing to go ahahaha
