Background Story;
Intel has surfaced that Dr. Clamely (AKA The Patriarch) is apparently convinced he can recreate his long lost wife at a remote estate manor east of Styhead. Our scientists need as much information as possible to defeat this scourge permanently, so secure as much Laboratory data as possible and report back ASAP.. and try to stay alive!
Construction Notes;
For years I have been assisting other artists with their map levels in most every aspect possble and yet never put much time into building out a map for myself (lol - nearly 8 years). I think it has been because I have enjoyed the art side of creating materials/models and theme input for those projects which were always enjoyable challenges and never left me bored to such a multitude of themes that I never would have attempted otherwise. Looking for something to work on in the middle of game milestone reviews, this map grew from simple grey-box rooms to it's final state in a little over a year. The map was a great retreat to work with off and on without the care/burden to rush it along. As the map grew in size, I began scaling back addional art elements I had wanted to utilize as I considered the burden for players to download maps over 60 meg to play weighed in on the decision to "cut back". I may eventually continue the map additions I wanted all along, but only time will tell.
