The TF2 pyro is British!

As we all know, the pyro came over to KF for the Twsited Christmas event. Slowly the evidence has been mounting...

(1) Gas Masks are par for the course in Killing Floor, and as such you would assume that the DRF troopers use microphones in their masks to make themselves so clear and understandable as that rattle on about nonces and knickers.

TF2 was set in the mid 50's, such portable microphones had not yet come to use, so incoherant mumbling through his gas mask was his only option. When the pyro warped across time and space into the world Killing Floor he no longer spoke in mumbles, he too spoke in that good old cockney british accent that we all love KF for.

(2) You think about it further and more things start to add up. The stereotypical (although incorrect) public image of the British SAS is to be wearing gas masks as standard, and after borrowing Mr Fosters mask and bringing it back to his own time period he now had one with that classic British design.

(3) He designed and built his flamethrower himself completely from scratch. If you know you history, during the second world war German scientists were carefully monitored and directed by the SS and focused on very specific problems. The British scientists however were given much more freedom to be ingenuitive and think out of the box.

Their inventions were much more irregular than their German counterparts... but alot of them worked, like the tank with a steel weed whacker like device attached was used to clear paths through mine fields.

(4) As pyro alot of Medics don't heal you... they are Germans after all :)

(5) Pyros hate spies... :D

There you have it... That pyros a cockney!

i disagree.

i have reason to believe that mr. foster and the pyro are friends(global arsonist and pyromaniac guild) or family (cousin, brother, godfather) or even LOVERS (nobody knows pyro's gender after all)

the pyro went on a vacation to see his dear old relative/friend/lover in England, and as a gift, mr. foster gave him/her/it 1 of his spare masks.

this does in no way mean he/she/it is british

Even if the Pyro isn't british, I could see TF2s latest crappy updates making him want to leave the TF2 Universe. I'd rather have a zombie apocalypse than have to live in a world full of rabit hat-collectors, where you have to pay cash to open boxes, and someone can beat you not because of skill, but because they bought better items...

I can hardly play TF2 since Valve got all cash-happy with it, full of promotional items every week or so, a cash shop, and horribly unbalanced community items...

It's good to know how you really feel about my country. Thanks?

He comes from a country where people greet each other with insults, I wouldn't take it personally.

Of course, I'm sure he is probably to busy drinking tea to answer. Well, between that, beating peasants, eating scones, and getting shot by Irishmen (and just about everybody else, with the notable exception of the French), an Englishman's life is quite busy!
