Any suggestions and critics are welcome :)

If anyone knows the way to get better reflection on the fluid surface than a cubemap please let me know.

On the picture's it looks damn awesome, I will give it a try soon and maybe check back on this ;)

Edit: Just checked the spoiler, it seem's like everyone is having that problem, I couldn't upload my map's too, or well I could upload them but they appear as KF SDK item's.

this map does NOT load in the maplist and is currently unplayable.

As you can see, it is requesting data from files that were not included in the map package download. Your download only included KF-Riverside-b2.rom, and 5 Mech-PK.ogg audio files. Please correct this error. On a side note, this map looks really good from the screenies and am looking forward to beta test it.

As i can see from the log, the problem is about MountainPass packages.
After Killing Floor update (I don't remember the number), custom resources from KF-MountainPass mas moved from "mylevel" to special packages (it's official now). This map is using some of them.
What is the version of your game?

my private server is running version 1037 currently. I never update my server files with the newest patch from TWI until they have proven to be stable for a while. My server is heavily modded and doesn't seem to play nice with patches and has crashed before losing data because of them. Build 1037 currently isn't perfect yet either but is running much better now than it was before. My personal Retail version I believe is either 1040 or 1041 and doesn't run as well with numerous memory leak crashes and fatal exception faults. The Hillbilly Horror DLC has wrecked havoc on my current install.

Anyways, not sure how that will help but there you go. Glad to hear that the error is actually on my end and not yours, but sad at the same time.

Would love to test your map, do you know what exactly I must do to correct this besides updating my server side files to a newer version?

thank you for that link. those files were exactly what I needed, especially since I didn't want to update the server. Not sure why you thought I was asking help about updating the server though :confused:.

Anyways, this was a quite fun little map and seems pretty stable as it is already. I really like the attention to detail with making it "feel" like it could be a real place instead of just being a bunch of empty areas and blank walls. I also am loving your custom trader. The fact that he was animated is what I liked the most. I got so used to seeing the trader just standing there like a mannequin on other maps I never thought it was possible. great Job !!!

The only issues I had with the map was the ladder leaning against the barn and the invisible wall blocking volumes.

I tried numerous times to climb that dang ladder because it looks so inviting. Would be cool if you made it so that the players could use the ladder and then added some zombie jump pads so that they could hop up there to shred anyone who thought they would be safe.... hehehehe

about the invisible walls, the ones I am referring to are at the end of the wooden bridge, the moving chain gate, and the barricade. IMHO, I think that you should add some debris at the end of the bridge to make it look like it was blocked off. The gate and barricade blocking volumes I think should be removed completely to allow players to travel further down the road a little bit and maybe block off the road itself with overturned burning vehicles or something like that. The zombies could then spawn and come out of the woods on both sides flanking the road as they approach the house. I know that the barricade respawns at the start of the wave and any player dumb enough to get caught out there would get barricaded out and have a real struggle trying to survive. It could be devilishly fun watching that happen and seeing them trying to scramble :D.

don't get me wrong, I have no bad feelings about this map. I think this map is really good. I was just trying to offer some creative feedback and ideas for you to consider. This map has definitely earned a spot on my server's rotation list. After a couple more days of MP testing, I'll post any reports of bugs, glitches, exploits that my players find. So far, GREAT job!

He made of 3 moving parts :)
This smoking guy and few other meshes was borrowed from DM-2019-XS (Author - AngelHeart) I've just slightly edited mover keys and properties to make it look more smoothly.
However, original KF trader has skeletal idle animation.

Climbing on that ladder is not provided. Roof of the barn is highly exploitable place.
Map size is quite small, limits is covered by the fog, but if players get outside the blockers and walk along the road about 20 meters, they can actually see the end of terrain and keep zombies from spawning on the road.

Anyway, thanks for review and suggestions. I'll look what I can do with that. :)

No, that wouldn't fit, i would put a small door on the left theres plenty space,too outside the barn :)
(in the backside of the barn ofc)
