KF resets my desktop brightness/gamma settings.

I haven't tried kf since I installed Windows7 so I don't know if it would do this before. But now I have to reset my brightness every time I leave kf and it's really annoying.

Win7 64bit
GTX260 using 275.33

I tried restarting steam and my computer but the same thing is happening each time I start KF.

If I start KF, alt+tab out and reset my desktop settings, it will go back and the brightness/gamma will stay with KF once it's maximized, but as soon as I alt+tab out again it will revert the brightness/gamma back to default on my desktop.

I have the "Use nvidia settings" checked, so I have no idea why KF is changing my desktop settings. It was annoying me so much that I just spent my time getting all the event achievements so I wouldn't have to start up KF again. :/

Ok, so I managed to fix the in-game brightness problem by deleting the shortcut in the steam games list, then creating a new one. I have no idea how that fixed the problem, but it did. Now the game still resets my desktop brightness back to default levels which is still rather annoying even after deleting the kf ini files.

Hi,

try to start the original killingfloor.exe as administrator (properties > compatibility > run as Administrator) and paste a link to your desktop. Don't use the created link of Steam.
