Description: An update to KF-OutPost21. I have fixed the problem of static meshes not appearing, fixed the skybox, edited the paths for zeds (level is slightly more difficult now), added custom sounds, and a few other goodies. :D I will be removing the link for KF-OutPost21 and hope that you will enjoy this updated version. Warning: This map does contain adult material. I would also like to thank ro_sauce for helping me complete this map.

A pretty good fort style map. The sense of scale is excellent. -1 point for not including KFMusicTrigger in a final release. My only other gripe is the massive download size for such a tiny map. The only custom content I noticed was the Duke Nukem sounds, imo its not worth going from <5mb to 30mb + for the sake of some sounds

The darkness of the map(or any map for that matter) varies from monitor to monitor and depends on the brightness and gamma settings for the game. I personally had to raise the brightness and gamma to adjust for my monitor. The map is also set at night, so it wouldnt make much sense for it not to be somewhat dark. The outter part of the map is suppossed to be pitch dark to give the effect that the zeds are coming out of the darkness. As to the file size of the map- without the custom sounds and textures the map is roughly 20MB, so an increase of 10MB to add some custom sounds and textures in is well worth it imo.

are the custom textures compressed to DTX 1?

Most are except the sky texture. When I compressed it to DXT1 it seemed to lose too much information and didnt look good at all.

well I'm not too worried, 30MB isn't that bad, it just seems like a lot for the size of the map. Without any custom content, a map like that should be < 10MB, and compress down to about 2MB. Anyway its not as weighty as plenty of other maps so not to worry!
