Right, been busy for the last few days but had a bit of spare time this evening.

I have updated the program to get the whitelist map names from the "Official Whitelist thread", so now it no longer uses the KF-Wiki.

The new version of the program can be found >HERE< (same link as in the OP)

It does seem fishy, it's his only post, and Avast! is hardly a reputable anti-virus.

Heretic!

So I haven't had a chance to look at this yet, but it does seem like a very useful tool to me, as a server admin, if it can automatically re-name maps as kf-mapname-blacklist, or move them to another folder as they become outdated. It would save me complaints of perks not working right after an update.

EDIT: one potential problem though, the mapname in the whitelist thread doesn't always match the filename of the whitelisted maps, I've noticed... wouldn't want false positives.

What would be REALLY nice is if tripwire just updated the client to flag maps in the map selection screen for whitelist/non-whitelist status when people are voting.

Great proggie but... there is always but :p When map name does not correspond to those in whitelist thread (i.e. KF-Hospitalhorrors) program treats it like a blacklisted map and even legit map from TW can be blacklisted. Can it be fixed so it wan't be case sensitive?

I've just had a look at the source and it shouldn't be case sensitive.

Have you got an example I can see (screenshots would be good...)?

It matches the full name of the .rom (i.e. mapv6.rom is a different map to map.rom) but should ignore case.

Your feedback is appreciated :)
