I love these lightsout or dark maps with some ambient lighting. Once you level up to 5+ or so, you want a little more to keep you scared in the game! 
PLEASE lights out all the stock maps except for the dark ones already like Bedlam.
There was a mod that had a flaregun with custom model which you could include so players can pickup the gun and just light up around them. It has 5 shot ammo and be reloaded ... would be fun at least just to have that since the flares eventually goes out, just like WTF.
Its in my cache as FlaregunDT. If you want to look at the code to make your own, let me know if you don't have it and I'll mirror it for you. I believe it is actually WTFmod's flare gun with a custom model.
