Ok this map is more of an experiment in converting kf1 maps and learning the new udk more than an attempt at a current gen looking map. With that said i went ahead and used the tool that was posted by Broski270 and started to throw my time at it. This was a map i enjoyed playing in an old game called land of the dead which had been the first map i ported to kf1 as a means to learn that udk, so i figured why not just use that and see what i can do with that tool. After converting it and getting the textures to work it looked kinda bland so i started to litter paris props and lights all over the place. There are all sorts of lighting issues that i've yet to figure out and the textures don't seem to be getting covered in blood but that is an issue for another time.https://www.dropbox.com/s/p0ttd9u26rifk5o/kf-lotd-downtown.kfm?dl=0 It's a mix of old assets and new ones and i had fun playing on it again after all this time.

Here is the link to the current version. I've managed to get the blood splatters working on the first building. The one you start the game on. It's taken some doing as i had to convert the old bsp's into a static mesh and then do the uv maps for the splatters. The props have blood now too but they still need tweaking. I'll trudge along until i get all of the buildings bleeding =).
